Now we'd be recyling old arguments that have already been discussed at nauseum........there has been many links to Medical people that have stated that both blood and urine is essential to proper testing of all possible PED's......some PED's blood can detect better than urine and vice versa.....

If a user knows what he's doing, he can beat the tests.....thats why its important to test for both blood and urine throughout and make it more difficult to attempt to get away with the cheating.

Cheating on your wife is bad.

    Really bad.

But in Filipino culture, many times, it's almost accepted in some places. By the wife even, in certain instances.

Some women say "It's alright if he goes out, as long as he knows that it's not serious and he'll still come home to me and the family."

I know that sucks, and most people here also feel that way. But since there is no divorce here, a couple will be together until death do they part.

Only in some extraordinary circumstances will they be separated by annullment, if they really want to.

Again, until he is proven 100% guilty, I'll stand by him, as a fighter.

    That is my stand.

Yeah, it's ridiculous. I mean I'm not even a Floyd fan. But it just gets to me that obnoxious Pac fans won't even consider the other side of the argument. It's almost like they are too afraid to see Pac fall which I can understand but still, I firmly believe everyone should get a fair shake and there are two sides to every coin. Is it so wrong to be suspicious of someone? If Michael Phelps had walked away from extra blood tests he would be just as much of a suspect as Pac. Doesn't matter who the person is. It's his actions or lack thereof - that's the focus.

The funny thing is I'm Asian and now I won't go to watch a Pacquiao fight at someone's house that is full of Pac fans. Last time I went I was nearly stoned to death for verbalizing a slight form of criticism towards Pac. Some dude called me a "traitor" for not supporting Pac. Lol there could've been not one but TWO knockouts that day had I not been able to control myself. :]

No offense to you my friend, because I know what you described is standard in alot of cultures........but that does suck.:-(

At least I know where you stand Bula......you're pretty much standing behind Pacquiao and unwilling to admit your full dissapointment in him because he's given so much to the enjoyment, entertainment, and pride of your country........

You dont have to say another word my friend, I know!

I'm not saying there is zero chance of him doing steroids, and closing the chance of it altogether.

It is a personal opinion of mine that I think he doesnt take illegal stuff.

I didnt join in on the steroids discussions before, because I felt that whatever both camps agreed to, when it comes to the testing procedures, I would also agree also.

I wont sweat it, because I'm not part of the negotiations.

Now that it is off, I wanted to know what happened.

And when they have talks again about the fight, and the details, I will be hands off of it and wait for the final agreement, and that is that.

With what Pac has agreed to, you have to be both a brigade member and a ***** to believe that he can get away with what PED is available now.

It is very provincial, and only a minority of women feel that way.

It's a bit like "Stand by your man."

    "I'm the real wife"

    That sort of thing.

Most wives would stomp on their husbands nuts and leave, though.

It was kinda funny when Floyd Sr. was talking about the steroids stuff at first, after the Hatton fight.

I am kinda shocked how it became this big and ugly and vicious, after a few more months.

Anyways, I'm kinda done talking about this steroids business, for now.

    Innocent until proven guilty.

Guys you have to understand our culture, it is taboo to cheat in sports competition. Our atheletes would rather lose than take drugs to enhance their performance. Pure Pinoy athletes are very honest with their bodies and would avoid any drugs (supplements or vitamins) as much as possible if they feel that it can harm their body or make them feel uneasy. It is unthinkable and laughable for Americans to think that the Philippines with its underdeveloped technology would pioneer and promote performance enhancing drugs, which according to the Mayweathers could not even be detected and would make one bulletproof. Look at our athletes, except for Pac, nobody has achieved so much success in sports competition. We have not even won a gold medal in the Olympics. Not because of the drug testing inplaced therein, which should be enforced during trainings to be effective, but because we have not produced as athletically and physically gifted as Pac is in boxing. Further, our athletes lack the moral and financial support of our government. Thus, even if we have that super drugs in our disposal, don't you think Bobby would have been the second beneficiary after his brother? You might feel that the above sentiment is naive, but you have to realize that you are looking Pac thru the eyes of an American, who I believe is basically suspicious and whose senses are already numb to cheating in sports.

Who in their right mind is necessarily saying that Pacquiao's PED use is coming from the Phillipines??

There is precedent for PED use right at Freddie Roach's Wild Card Gym.

One of Roach's undiciplined fighter tested positive for it in a title fight!:deal

There is'nt anyone here stating that Pinoy's are Roider's.

Don't you think your statement somewhat further confirmed that Pac is doing something "strange"? So it is easier to believe that of all the great Filipino athletes Pac is a superman than to believe that Pac alone is doing something wrong? Sorry, that doesn't make sense.

Secondly, your theory of doing dirt is all wrong. The more dirt you do the LESS you involve anyone. The quickest way to spot a small time hood is if everyone knows he is a criminal. A real criminal? Is very quiet. (I don't mean this to call Pac a criminal.) Bobby is a half assed dedicated boxer. Why would he share a secret of that magnitude? Hell Manny may not even know he is on the stuff.

You guys are quick to play the cultural card, which I admit is valid at times, but will never play the common sense card. What man walks away from $40 million dollars over a test he KNOWS he can pass? No man! You still can't explain rejecting the 14 day cut off!

I don't know which part of the Philippines you live in but that's only half true (did that make sense? lol). I think that some women not just in the Philippines are hang up with there men will say that.

Philippines is a Catholic country and marriage, IMO and probably MOST Christians will agree, is something sacred.
