Whitaker in a very close perhaps controversal decision

Whitaker in a very wide perhaps uncontroversial decision.

How? You have two guys that are master technicians and defensive guru's. Floyd has a bit of a height advantage and would probably box more at range. I cant even imagine how this fight would fall into place.

I simply see the fight going 12 rounds, however a ko by either fighter is still possible. Pernell's defense relies more on movement whereas Floyd defense is more passive and expends less energy. Still though Pernell proved that he had the conditioning to go 12 rounds with the best pressure fighter ever so I don't see him tiring. I favor Whitaker as he fought better competition under more fair circumstances than most of Floyd's recent victories and in the Hurtado fight he demonstrated that despite being a slick boxer he could put you out. It is a tough fight to call but still Whitaker was the better boxer of the two and I have to favor him by about 2 to 3 points over Floyd. Bottom line, I don't see Floyd's tentative style deserving the win over Sweet Pea.

    Again?

Sweet Pea has all the advantages here. Better jab, higher workrate, fought the better opposition so at least we know he won't be over awed.

Pea not as his best at 147 but Floyd has never thrown so few punches.

Wait until people start using Floyds fight with Mosley as 'proof' of him beating Elite fighters. They already use Baldomir

This is a complete mismatch; Floyd is the most overrated fighter of recent times (maybe all time)

I didn't mean that I didn't think Pea would win.

I would make him a slight favourite.

It was the margin I didn't buy.

I think he'd win most of the rounds in a competitive fight.

Pea is the better overall fighter, but not at his best at 147. I see Floyd's height advantage coming into play here. I say PBF by SD.
