I think its a cultural thing Mexican's simply don't like it when you make the fight personal. I don't see it as much in other latinos but Mexicans simply don't like trash talkers: Gomez, Mayorga, Rosario, Camacho, R Mayweather.
When, McKinney told Barrera that he had only beaten bums and that he was all hype he should have known better.

If history tells us anything trash talking a Mexican Boxer is not good. Personally the McKinney fight and the Hamed fight are perhaps two of the best fights I have ever seen.

The first words out of Chavez' mouth after the Taylor fight were, "He deserves a rematch."

Top line - Your the only person except for Addie Ive heard saying Barrera didnt run, he fkn ran alright, ran like a *****, its well know this is true.

2nd line - Tricks of the trade my balls.... He hit Pacquiao on the break in both fights, JMM while he was down, Morales numerous times below the belt in fight 2 as well as punch/pushed him to the floor, you could tell by the frustration on his face that it was intentional just because he was being outboxed, he`s did it to others too & it always seems to happen when the other guy is getting the better of him, thats weak IMO.

Last line - I couldnt give 2 shits about that Naz thing, his head never properly connected with the post anyway but thanks... thats one more thing on his list... but he gets excused (& even praised for it despite Naz fighting clean the entire fight) that because Naz `got what he deserved` in most peoples eyes.

Too bad that the fight effectively wore him out permanently. Had he been able to endure the beating he received we would have seen an immediate rematch.

:good:clap::clap::clap: You said it right on i guess only a fellow Mexican would know what im talking about right here. Morales would have cracked Mckinney too if he got in his face like that:yep Mckinney also tried to say this is MY TOWN:lol: WHen they fought at the forum which was Barreras home away from home. Mexican fighters definitley hate trash talkers and even the baddest of them all choose not to talk big just fight big:yep

HEy Bill why dont you post Barrera and Morales getting into their scuffle. Cause from what i remember Morales was talking **** and Barrera cracked him and then both teams got in the middle while Morales thru a swift combo back.

Im not 100% on every detail but i think id remember if Barrera ran.

Also calling a Warrior like Barrera a ***** are some pretty tough talking and harsh words.

It is what sets us apart we don't let people disrespect us, our family, and our culture. You were in County so you know it clearly that Mexican's are natural warriors that are not intimidated. Look at what Vargas did to Ross Thompson when he told him he was going to take it to the streets in an effort to scare Vargas. In the end Vargas spit on him as he lay on the floor.

My man NEVER lost - and never had any questionable decisions - the usual 2 that get brough up all the time (vs Lowry I and vs LaStarza I) are just revisionist history things - most people who were there seem to say, well actually Rocky won in my opinion Lowry was just trying to survive and Lastarza may have got close but Marciano probably edged it on the strength of a knockdown - hahaha wait for the responses on that

    Vargas -Winky

I thought Vargas came on in the end to pull out a draw on my scorecard but the one of the judges had Vargas by 4 (which was just wrong) the other had him up by 2.

KInd of reminded me off Tony Ayala and Robbie Epps:lol: He also disrespected Ayala and his family. After Epps got beat down and spit on.

He`s a great fighter but it was a ***** type act, I dont doubt his warriors heart in the actual heat of battle.

Also... Barrera threw a punch... some people tried to get in the middle as Morales threw 2... Barrera jumped backwards... Morales kept pushing thru those guys trying to fight... Barrera kept backtracking making sure that there was always distance between them (smiling as if he only did it to wind Morales up but in reality wanted nothing to do with a barefist encounter)

My point - if your not willing to fight... dont throw the punch.

    I think thats fair.

Ummmmmm........Joe Louis/Joe Walcott 1 people:D. I'm not a big fan of Louis but who doesn't like the guy. I gotta admit that Walcott was just the better man in the first fight and deserved it. Good shoutout to Tito because after the Hopkins fight(I don't know why but usually when fighters look vulnerable I start to jump into their fanbase. I'm weird like that.) I started to become his fan but I gotta admit DLH outboxed the ears off him. Oh, and speaking of DLH let me bring up the second fight with Mosley. Sugar Shane is my fav but there's no way in hell he won that rematch with DLH no matter how many later rounds he toke I scored the fight 115-113 DLH.
