Groves is a very good prospect for sure, but he did look poor last time out, his defence was lacking he got tagged a good few times by the lumbering East European.

Groves looked very sloppy in his fight.

    DeGale is a posing gimp.

I'd love to see him come apart in a fight like Alex Arthur V Michael Gomez.

Arthur really thought he was some pound for pound great before that fight.

DeGale makes his way in Gold dancing to the ring like Naz - and then is rubbish.

Says he is better looking than David Haye.

DeGale is asking for a painful defeat.

Yeah he said a while back after Haye slagged him off a bit

"Haye is just jealous because I am better looking than him"

    DeGale loves himself.

DeGale is no better than the likes of Mark Kaylor or Billy Schwer in the looks department, certainly a step up from Billy Hardy or Charlie Magri but way behind the real British glamour boys like Conteh, Calzaghe and Haye.

Haye could melt an iceberg just by winking at it.

DeGale looks like he belongs in the pet shop boys hot tub.

I am amazed you cannot see that the historical and social context of an insult or slur is of significance. The word "paki" is not racist in Australia because it has only ever been used as an abbreviation for the cricket team. It is not as a word intrinsically offensive or racist. However to use it in the UK would outline you as a racist because it is rooted in the far right activities of the 70s and 80s and was used as a vitriolic slur by people who targeted the Asian community.

So yes the historical context of using a slur about a persons colour and one about the colour of their hair is hugely different and thus one is far more offensive than the other and one carries much graver connotations.

If that is impossible for you to grasp, then I'd suggest that it is you who qualifies as a "moron".

Well its obvious we disagree. I dont think there is too much of a difference between an 'off the cuff remark' in either sense. Not that I go around making those remarks by the way I just think it's very silly from Degale to be saying things like that :good

to be honest i wouldn't put calzaghe in the glamour category. he had the looks, but he didn't have the charisma. haye is far ahead of calzaghe in the glamour catergory.
