So the power of Margarito's punches had absolutely nothing to do with the result?

Of course his power did. What's your point? He was a strong puncher and Cotto eventually broke down. How the **** is that cheating?

My point is that Margarito tried to load his gloves against Mosley and there is a chance (a high chance in my opinion) that he had his gloves loaded against Cotto. If you want to believe otherwise that's fine. I believe he loaded his gloves and many other people do as well.

So you believe that Margraito only had illegal wraps for the Mosley fight? After brutally breaking Cotto down without needing illegal wraps, he/his trainer decided it necessary to use them against a supposedly past it Mosley? Come on people stop kidding each other. Margraito may come back and perfrorm just as devaststingly without illegal pads, but, evidence or not, the fact that he had them before the fight with Mosley means it is likely he used them before, knowingly or unknowingly.

He didn't have that type of power. Margarito's strength was always a sustained body attack and wearing down of the fighter. Check out his sparring match with Sergio Mora on youtube, its very visible there too, and I doubt he loaded his gloves to beat up a sparring partner. For the type of power you're talking about I think more of a Tito Trinidad, but even then, you can see the leverage behind his punches and the straight perfect shots, so that I wouldn't even claim Tito loaded up because his technique is perfect for those type of shots. I bring Tito up because Nazeem accused him as well.
