If any sport lacks credibility in a lot of areas, it's boxing. Why can't boxing take the lead for a change? Especially since it involves direct one on one combat?

Yea, there's ways around it. Can HGH even be tested? I dunno. But i think all ABC's should enact it as a rule in title fights. Doesn't need to be every freakin club fight.

The people that have a problem with blood testing are the same people that hated on boxing gloves when we were doing just fine with bare knuckles!! :yep

yep, red tape, all that bull****. So, in this sport, the only way to enact change is for the biggest name in the sport to call for it. Hope it works.

How can boxing take the lead when other sports already do that?

    And who's against it?

Not just in sport but life in general. Its for the boxing commissions to introduce it

The only problem is the blood testing, some people get weakened from taking blood out of their body for a day or 2. in fact it is common, does that put that boxer at an unfair advantage? i personally think it does

If its a rule, its a rule and everyone will follow. 1 fighter does not dictate the rules however, specially when its following accusations.

because it was proposed by floyd?

not really, just let the commission do it's job. this is for amateurs. let the commission upgrade it's current standards and not let an organization for olympics do the job for them. it's good but we have to consider the time frame of the testings on the issue. do we conduct testing the whole year round even if there was no fight? what about fighter's from other countires or states can USADA accomodate all of them? can they get blood in the middle of the night? will they take blood samples days or hours before a big fight? yes they can do it in olympics because they are confined to an olmpic village, how can they do it in professional boxing?

I think people generally question if it works. Now whether it works or not, something has to be done.

I also think there's a lot of hero worship...and most would be crushed if their hero was on the gas.

Why are you for it all the sudden?
I don't remember a big campaign to fix drug testing 6 months ago.

Manny has said lots of times that if the commision says go, its a go. Floyd doesnt make the rules and he wont allow Floyd to force him into it when he doesnt want to.

Nobody's against it, just in the context in which it was bought up and all the allegations without merit towards Pac, made him not take the fight, it was mental tactics which blew up in gayweathers face.
