How anyone can have Pac above Pryor, Chavez and Tszyu at JWW is beyond me :huh

That's almost as embarrassing as you rating Pacquiao as the second best Junior Welterweight. :good

I can't see Cotto making a top 200, if I ever did go insane and bother to do one.

And I meant Manny was far superior in his alltime standing. At worst he's a top 40 fighter, at best top 30. IF he retires tomorrow.

I'm going to save making a stern judgement on him until he's done.

Why be like that? Its a discussion, we have different opinions. I do not and have never said i'd rank Cotto above Arguello, but you posting so, people will believe it regardless. Its a cheap thing to do, to get an edge in this "credibilty" contest

Mike McCallum was a more complete fighter than Cotto, more dominant, and beating Graham, Kalambay, Watson, Collins, Jackson, and Curry is infinitely more impressive than beating Judah, Torres, Mosley, Quintana, and Clottey. :good

I'm not particularly sold on Danny Lopez myself.

Nobody claims Donald Curry is an all-time great.

Nobody should be claiming Julian Jackson is an all-time great, either.

That being said, Curry and Jackson in particular would have had no problem beating anyone Cotto faced with the exception of Pacquiao and Mosley.

No disputing that but he's had one fight at JWW. ...He's at the bottom of this list, and I'm sticking to that. Just as I think it's insane to rank Pacquiao at number 1 at Featherweight based off one amazing win and a draw. It's beggar's belief and could only happen with Manny and his fans.

One of my favourite fighters. Can't see him making a top 100 though. **** hot, possibly the hardest 126lb puncher ever IMO.

His power is indisputable, but I'm not to sure he should be considered an All-time Great. Admittedly, I don't know a great deal about him other than the obvious. I see a lot of fighters being him at 126lbs.

The same way its hard to place Pac above those guys on just 1 fight, its hard to place him below those guys too.

I don't see how based on your reasoning you can judge that Chavez, Pryor, and Tszyu are better than Pac at JrWW when he only had 1 fight at the weight?

seems like a double standard. If Pac hasn't had enough fights to be placed above those guys, then why has he had enough fights to be placed below them? Its not like his lone performance at that weight was any indicator that they were better than him. If anything it pointed towards the opposite.

Yeah I'd personally have him bottom. He might fare well in a H2H series with all of these opponents mind you.

I'd favour him to beat Tszyu and the Hatton of Tszyu. Tszyu could land his right down the pipe but I think Manny will just outland him, stop him from setting himself and landing those sharp counters and get him out of there. Mind you, I'm not that big on Tszyu.

I'd lean towards Chavez to break him down late. 50-50, Manny has some awesome attributes, but Chavez is one guy who Pac will struggle to keep smart. Chavez can hit Manny more than anyone ever has, the shoot outs would be fascinating and spectacular but Chavez makes less mistakes than Pac and is a nice counter puncher at times himself. He can land the more telling shots through Pacs combos, and unless Pac lands four or five of the wonder shots he's pulling off lately I can't see him putting JCC away.

Supposedly Pryor has an aversion to southpaws. With evidence (I don't believe I'm seen him in with one, not to my recollection anyway) I'm willing to pick Pac, but Pryor had a quality chin, powers of recovery, fast, great combos and relentless style in his own right, and also had good boxing skills when he wanted to get on his toes. This would cause Pac problems, as would a workrate that can rival his.

But if I'm pointed towards footage of Pryor looking baffled and open against lefties, I'll reconsider.

Just watch some of his fights. He doesn't have the technical nuances that appeal to you, but his timing was **** hot, he's exciting to watch, tough as old boots, and his stoppages are spectacular. defended his title quite a few times I believe, waynebedfre has him vs Olivares on youtube and it's a real good fight.

Sometimes he only seems to graze an opponent:And they're down for five minutes:lol:

That's possibly the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

I guess you'd have RJJ above 3 dominant Heavies by the same logic too?
