    ??

You must have had high expectations from Gavin because most people think he has looked very very good since turning over :huh

he's a very likeable character, and sometimes that gets in the way in how someone views their performances. he hasn't been that impressive considering he was the best amateur for his weight in the world. a good jab will totally ruin his rythm.

I dont know what you've been watching frankie has looked very very impressive and many people thought he wouldn't look good as a pro, i think you will be in the minority in thinking frankie hasn't look good!

    'Boxing Science'

Either you have some sort of agenda with Gavin or your username is one of those ironic names because IMHO you know **** all of the sport

i know a lot about boxing, and i know when i see a superstar in the making, and gavin is not going to be one in my opinion, not one at world level anyway. i have no agenda, just an opinion. we'll see what happens. like i said, i think a good jab will totally put him off rythm. no point saying i know fvck all, because it's early days to say such a thing.

Nah I think you're talking out of your arse.

I'm of the opinion that if anybody in the UK at the moment (Barring our champs and near champs) is gonna make it as a star in the UK it's Gavin :good

and that's your opinion, but i'll stick with my'n. i think he'll do well, but once he goes up in class, maybe worldclass and faces a technically very good boxer with a good jab, then he comes unstuck. he's a good counter puncher, but i haven't seen nothing spectacular that makes me think
" wow" like i have done with past fighters i have watched that turned out to be in the elite.

he's british, i'll support him, but i don't think he'll go all the way.

Well each to their own pal.

I think he'll shine on the world stage personally. He has a fantastic amateur record (I know that doesn't always cut it) but that thing about him having never entered a tournament as an Senior Amateur without winning a medal is something that stands you apart. He was commonwealth, European and World Amateur champ :good

I think he'll be multiple weight champ :good

hmmmm... yep im rackin my brains... no its definately true.... 'boxingscience' u r officially the only person im aware of that hasnt liked what they saw in gavins pro career thus far. The calmness he's displayed, the power he himself has admitted he didnt realise he had, the educated shots (particularly to the body) and combinations i mean u call urself boxing science; this kid gavin knows boxing science, very good boxing brain at such an early stage. I mean billy joe saunders' style suits the pro game so its no shock hes taken to it like a duck to water but with frankie, who'd just tap ppl in the amateurs to rack up the points, to be sitting on his shots so well so quickly i gotta tell ya imo he's the next massive thing in british boxing. no pleasin some people! :think

i'm the only one? hmmm, i quite like that, so when frankie eventually loses when he goes up to maybe worldclass, which i expect won't be for a couple of years yet, then you'll know why i call myself boxing science. just think, wow, that guy knew his ****. i hope the guy succeeds, but i don't think he'll go all the way is all i'm saying.

They are totally different characters that's what it is.

DeGale is an arrogant twat and can't back up his talk. I can't wait till he gets knocked out the *****. Anyone remember his appearance on Bunce's show on Setanta? He was on there with his swagger, chewing gum like he owned the gaff.

Gavin seems like a good character plus he's definitely the most impressive of the olympians that came through from Beijing. Liked him since day 1.
