Do you think Tomasz is a throw back in the mold of Dempsey,Schmeling,Sharkey,Tunney,Ali,Patterson at 39-1 he has beaten a lot of fighters coming up and has shown his power in every weight. He has moved up from the faster lower weight divisions like the Old timers but it remains to be seen if he bring that power up to the heavyweights and retain the speed.

How far do you think he will go?

Do you think he beats the Klitschkos?

Do you think he can beat Haye?

Do you think he would beat Chambers?

i dont think he would beat any of them, maybe chambers since he doesn't have alot of pop in his shots, but he's fast enough to outbox adamek. nothing about adamek is amazing really, he's about as contemporary of a fighter as you can get. yea he's tough, yea he's got solid skills, but dawson pretty much showed the blueprint to beating him. keeping him at bay with accurate straight punches. that has wladimir klitschko written all over it. i would like to see how adamek would do against tua let alone a top HW.

I like Adamek, but I'm not sure he's a throw-back fighter......... In fact, I'm curious if he's now juicing..... He looks bigger and stronger than ever now that he's in the 220s, etc.... What's in his diet? I wanna know... That is critical about him truly being a cheater or a throw-back.......... Athletes today are pulling all kind of scams to enhance their performances.......

He dosn't qualify as a throwback in my book.

His training habits at heavyweight seem all too modern.

I think that he will fall short against the best and it is ironic that I am saying this since he could be a valuable propaganda tool for me if he were to beat a beltholder.

I don't really agree with the way he's going on about this move to the heavyweights.

Instead of keeping his speed he seems to want to match the heavyweights for strength and power. I wonder how he can carry those extra 20 pounds, let's not forget that he was fighting at 175 into his 30's. I'll admit I'm wrong if he's successful and in fact keeps his speed despite carrying more weight than he ever has before.

The only throwback at the time is Eddie Chambers who acknowledged that the extra weight only made him slower. I guess you could point out to Haye too because he comes in at 215 despite probably being naturally bigger than Adamek.

    Bad bad idea.

Does anybody think that Tommy Loughran would have beaten Primo Carnera if he had taken steroids?

Would Billy Conn have lasted many rounds against Joe Louis if he had worked on trying to out muscle him?

Speaking of Edward Chambs...... He is naturally a fleshy dude who likes steak and eggs.......... His 222 pounds against Sam Peter last year is where Chambers is really comfortable, but he appears slightly fleshy in the strike-zone area.... Still, he seems to handle it there.......

The weight of 210 + or - pounds against that Alex Dimentrenko (**** the Spelling) was a very serious Eddie Chambers who had to refrain from chowing down food and guzzling soda-pop..... How long will Chambers maintain that kind of focus??? I sense he'll balloon back up to 222 / 225 pounds after his collects that check from the 'Klitschko' fight.....

Amazing how many good boxers with a weight issue become porkers and make excuses after they start rolling in the dough......

Chambers said he'll never again go above 215 lbs in or out of the ring. I have no idea whether he will keep his promise but he seems to be fairly serious about it.

Not a big fan of the fact that he works with the infamous Victor Conte though...

:goodYou nailed it....thats what bothers me. If he was old school he would be 210 tops...I like his style, exciting and he throws some very correct punches at times and he has 40 fights but I dont think he needs 222lbs

I agree, he should be using his speed and stamina and whatever natural power he has I am afraid he will be giving up his advantage trying to fight fire with fire, instead of water

Chambers LOVES Big Mac's, etc........... He'll be dedicated while he needs the money...... After his manager informs him that he is a millionaire with investments that are growing, you'll see Chambers' mid-section start to grow back, as well....... Just look at "Dokes, Page, Tubbs, Berbick, Spoon & Buster Douglas........ All these dudes had great talent, but they loved to chow down way too hard and often.......... Chambers is there too..........

Adamek didn't look too great against Estrada. He started with a nice body attack but he only seemed to wear himself out. The speed was there but not the power and he got tired at the end.

If he doesn't get this newfound stamina problem in check come April, I can see Arreola walking through his shots and eventually stopping him. It took Vitali 80+ punches a round and strong clinching to keep him at bay, and I sadly don't see Adamek pulling it off at this stage. He looked fine at 214 against Golota, not sure what 6+ extra pounds is going to improve.

    Throwback?

Yeah. Throw him back to the cruiserweight division.
