This he did but how do you explain away the last 10 years when Ricky along with Warren and SN promised umpteen times to make the bout only to move the goal posts, reneg in their word and then not bother with what could have been potentially the next Eubank Benn. Hattons was a very carefully managed career. Anyone with basic congitive skills would have seen that from his early days as a pro.

Oooo your heart just swells with the love of human kindness. Puhlease spare me that fortune cookie crap. Kostya gave Hatton a chance to break bread. Without Kostya who knows Hatton may have been Britains very own Thomas Daamgaard. But Hatton would never give Witter a chance despite he's own promises and he's word meant **** and thus denied British fans one of the biggest domestic scraps of the last decade. Hatton can suck my balls.

So what? The fight should have happened. It didn't and Hatton went on to have a great career by British standards. Get over it (as they say!).

We both know that most of the whinging done about Hatton-Witter not happening is just from people who just want an excuse to have a pop at Hatton.

    Tosspot alert!!!!

Witter v Hatton was never going to be the next Benn v Eubank because Hatton was a better fighter......simples.

Seriously though whilst you say Hatton had a very carefully managed career he still outshone Witter by a mile.

What was Witters best career victory? Harris.

The same guy who lost to Maussa who was a secondary victim of Hattons.

Whilst im no fan of either fighter Hatton had the much better career and was the better fighter period. British people seem to support a fighter and then turn on him once he loses.

Hatton has lost 2 fights in his whole career against ATG fighters. Witter did well against Euro fighters but when he stepped up to fight a fighter who wasnt either a journeyman (Morua) or past his prime fighter (Corley) he laboured and stunk the join out.

Scurlantings your so predictable when it comes to Hatton, your a joke son.:yep

Whatever you think Witter would have given Hatton all he could handle when the fight made sense 2001 - 2005, I certainly don't accept that Hatton is/was a better fighter than Witter...achievement and ability are two completely seperate things

Ice this isn't a **** take but Hatton was certainly better in my opinion and a hatton from circa 04/05 would have beat any Witter put infront of him.
