**** off you got to pay me like Cloverlay with Frazier. Better than Mathew Hatton? :think Ain't filmed, my last 3 or 4 fights aint been filmed, how annoying. 60kgs, my fight tonight was billed as 57kgs as the boy i fought was 57kgs. Well thanks for the support lads, G-man did it! (I must be good im talking in 3rd person) Well I was boxing a lad who is thought highly off and in his hometown and last fight of the night so my Dad was annoyed as it was a good 40 minutes away. Our other lad boxing was on first and won real well. Anyway I just had a good feeling tonight, i felt real sharp. The boy was a nice lad as I chatted with him for 5 minutes or so before outr fight but when the fighting starts it was serious. When he came in the ring he winked at me and at the refs instructions he winked again and I thought 'The cocky wee ****er' Anyway he came out with his right hand cocked and all showy looking to get fast combos in but within the first 20 seconds he was wincing from body shots as I found his weakness. In the clinches which were often as he held alot when we broke he winked at me but I soon put a stop to that with well placed body shots. I thought I took the round. In the second I came out again and worked the body but halfway through he started covering up, so I took aim and landed some good shots then maybe 20-30 seconds later he flurried but I felt I blocked most. I was ****ing up as I was fighting inside when I should have made room for my punches but the body attack was tiring him. In the third I felt real bad as I have been suffering from a cold but I gritted it in and fought a scrappy third where I was tripped to the canvas twice and cut my knee. The boy was a bit dirty and cocky so I responded in kind which was a bitty stupid. And said a few things like 'Come on fanny' and 'That all you got?' but he was more cocky. I also tried to headbutt (according to my Dad) him but I cant remember that. Anyway I thought I won it quite handily as I was landing the cleaner shots like my left hook and right hand down the middle as he was a wider puncher and I took a lot on the back of the heid. I won 12-6. Was class as he was the crowd favrouite and an old man said to him in fornt of me 'You should have KO'd this kid.' So i tapped him on the shoulder and spread my arms and said 'oih, come on then' jokingly and he had a laugh about it. Was a class win though. But i made it ahrd for myself, im out next week in my hometown and there is a good chance im topping it aswell. Th
Didnt film it so sorry about that. I said to him 'Cut out the cocky stuff and your a good boxer' I ****ing hate that, he probably would have beat me if he didnt fire me up like that. Im sure he was thinking after every break, 'How the **** is this kid still on me'
I used to watch a lot of local amateur boxing and kids (and later even the refs!!!) attitudes to showboating def. changed after Naz.
