Round 2 Valero's got strange footwork; he kind of crabwalks (or rather, crabshuffles) forward pumping jabs. Whenever one tastes flesh, the left comes soaring out of its cave. Valero breathing out of his mouth heavily. HUGE cut on Valero, caused by - a butt? Elbow. Ruled accidental. Amazingly, they let it continue. That means a point deduction from DeMarco (for the unintentional foul causing a cut) under these unique rules. Valero desperate now. He comes in with combinations, three punches at a minimum. DeMarco still taking it in stride but his mouthpiece is KTFO out of his mouth. Valero smells blood (other than his own, dripping from his forehead, that is) and goes wild on him. The ref calls for a pause and Valero has his own mouthpiece put back in. That's the end of the round. Another Valero round. 20-18
Valero is pissed after Demarco opens up a vagina on his head. Valero is pissed and he's coming on strong now on Demarco. Demarco trying to counter Valero but the blood flow is ridiculous. Valero fighting as he normally does, lots of punches and Demarco staying calm. Valero's mouthpiece gone and they're warring in the center of the right! They clinch and the ref decides it's time to put the mouthpiece in. Round's over. Probably a 9-9 round. I felt like Demarco won the round but the point got taken away. 19-18 round in my estimation.
