That is a nasty ass cut on his head. And it didn't matter, as he never stopped attacking DeMarco til the end.

Guy looks like a ****ing neanderthal.

On the flip side I got a soft spot for Tony DeMarco. I think he's a great dude and real humble and nice. He gave Valero a scare since he can shoot a nice straight left and has a solid right hook. I wish him the best and hope he rebounds after this.

Things like that make him more of an animal in my opinion. I was telling people when he gets hit he just gets angrier! They didn't believe me of course!

I love watching the guy fight. He's got awesome tenacity!

I was scared with all the cuts and Valero breathing with mouth open in early rounds and getting tagged a couple of times flush. . .but Valero showed heart and will as well as being more than a "primitive" brawler.

Sounds like a good idea! but if the rumor is true that Valero has a hard time making weight at 135 then I doubt that would be possible

I was thinkiing about this the other day. Hmmmm. . .Gamboa would have a size and reach disadvantage here. 5'5 Gamboa vs 5'7 Valero. I think Valero has a better chin too since Gamboa has been down so many times. I think Valero wins it after a couple of the most action-packed rounds in recent memory.

How do you think Valero would do at 140?

I really enjoyed watching Valero fight last night, he lived up to the hype IMO. I hope this continues as i thought he fought like a wounded beast with skills. I am fan.

hats off to the Mexican doctor allowing the fight to continue with that nasty cut. Even though the location of the cut did not affect have a big effect on Valero, I just wonder if an American doctor would have allowed it to continue.

One thing is for certain, Robert Guerrero would not have continued.
