Daiki Kameda picks up flyweight belt - Daiki & Koki Kameda both world champions!

    Guess what: now two of the 3 Kameda brothers hold a world title belt!

    Koki Kameda, 23, (22-0, 14KOs), picked up the World Flyweight Championship outclassing WBC champ & divisional #1 Daisuke Naito two months ago, and little brother Daiki Kameda, 21, (16-2, 11KOs) just beat Denkaosan Kaovichit in their rematch by UD, winning the WBA flyweight title. I have no information how the fight went down and whether the scoring (2x116-112 & 1x114-112) were fair, but it's a fact: two of the three Kameda brothers are beltholders! The youngest of the Kamedas, Tomoki is just 18 and recently picked up a minor title at bantamweight, he's 12-0 with 10KOs.

    If the youngest brother becomes champion, will it be the first time in boxing history where there are three brothers who are champion at the same time? I would think it is. Wow. :admin

    Jesus Christ these Kamedas are kicking ass in Japan. Daiki is the least talented though. Tomoki will go far.

    Heck, I can't remember if there's ever been 3 brothers who all won world titles, period. Daiki was kind of the weak link of the three, so now that he's got one, I think we're finally going to see that happen. :happy

    The Kameda clan are like a watered-down, slightly more wholesome version of the Hilton brothers from Montreal.
