After Hatton beat Tsyzu and started making defences and challenging for new titles, (bar Maywheather and Pacquiao) would you have preffered Hatton to have fought Witter rather then Maussa, Collazo, Urango, Castillo or Malignaggi? I would've but thats just my opinion.
Whilst Hatton was having some of those bouts Witter had become WBC LWW champ and at some point was considered by some to be the next best LWW after Hatton.
I only think Hatton fought Maywheather and Pacquiao because he thought he would be the naturally bigger stronger man in the ring on fight night due to those fighters turning pro at lighter weights, Hatton always made it clear hed want to stay away from a big WW like Margarito.
So would you have rather seen Hatton defend against Witter rather than the 5 fighters mentioned?

Urango is a pretty **** fight.

Crap blend of styles, Urango was a nobody at the time.

As for the others.... not too many complaints from me. Witter would have been able to force the fight had he beaten Bradley, it was there.

That said, Hatton would have won IMO.

    Please no part 3

Everything could have been fitted into the first thread

Yeah, but why don't you keep your opinions in one thread. Why do you feel the need to create a thread every time you want to voice your opinion about this subject?

I like RIcky Hatton as a fighter, Im a fan of his, but never the less he did avoid Witter at domestic level. IMO Hatton would beat Witter at any stage, I think Witter would fold under the pressure but it just didnt make business sense for Hatton to fight him. As has been said previously, there wasnt enough money at stake to risk a loss, he fought Pac and Floyd but was always going to make millions regardless.

Because the threads drift off the subject quickly and turned into Hatton charging for photos etc,

I did it in 2 threads because the subjects always drift, I think if I had of put it all in 1 thread everyone would have answered the 2nd part put not said about the 5 years leading up to Tsyzu.
But no there will be no part 3 just another thread called Witter against Hatton instead
