can't post the link. but arreola's trainer henry ramirez says the fight is on, and the fight is being advertized in ontario, CA. adamek's promoters are trying to see if they can get the fight in newark, NJ. i belive that adamek is a blown up cruiserweight. at light heavy, he was too drained. at heavy, he is lugging around extra weight that slows him down. however, he won some memorable title fights at light heavy, before losing. and i think he'll win a couple of memorable fights up at heavyweight, for one of the titles.
definitely. also, he will develop as a heavyweight, improve from the estrada fight. adamek can have great fights vs haye, povetkin, solis, chambers, and boytsov.
Bokser.org has quoted Mendez (Adameks fitness trainer) that Adamek will gain a bit more weight before Arreola. I hope this is some kind of a mis-print. I don't think he should be gaining weight. Especially like 2.5 months before the fight.
Yeah man i saw that and was like wtf? :huh i thought its pretty obvious that adameks stamina was weaken by all that additional weight ,and maybe he should lose a few pounds but mendoza says add more? is he fukin blind? Hope gmitruk sees what we can see and reacts.
I dont know if they are serious. If yes, then they are gamblers and put everything on one card to make Adamek a puncher. It would be very risky, because it might damage his stamina. Althought I dont believe they are talking seriously :smoke
Great fights to watch. Mix these fighters together and make super six On the other hand I am curious how Adamek can box against very big fighters like Dimirtienko or even Valuev.
He'll likely be back before Arreola's fight. But whatever happened to Cop (Cop and 4fun had a similar style of thinking and writing imo), Joecool and that other guy with the old blond chic with sunglasses on his avi? They just sort of disappeared without saying goodbye.
Maybe they know something we don't. Its hard to say based on a single fight, that his extra weight was definitly the cause of his stamina problems. But its tempting, I know. Heres another tempting thought: Maybe Adamek should just stick exclusively with Gmitruk and dump Bloodworth and Mendez.
Adamek should fight Haye in my opnion, targetting Arreola is a pointless risk. Fight Jawwny Ruiz when Haye is done with him and have a safe and easy route to the titleshot. And I agree with piotrbezkitu, anything over 215 for Adamek is additional baggage that only slows him down.
