Who is better P4P Yuriorkis Gamboa or Guillermo Rigondeaux???

Rigo is the best of the Cuban bunch. Gamboa is awesome too though but imo on a lesser level.

 

Rigo seems better technically, gamboa more dynamic. That said Rigo seems more determined and has the better trainer, will be p4p.

 

Whos this Lara then? What weight?

 

I think Rigo is more fundamentally sound, so if he can carry his power up when/if he meets Gamboa then he will come out on top. Gamboa is really impressive however.

 

Gamboa is the mannnnn now and will be, he needs freddie roach in his corner

nah man ismael and gamboa have great chemistry but i do have to agree roach would do awesome things with such a gifted slugger

So far we have Rigondeaux beating Gamboa in a very close fight and being better P4P!!!

 

Gamboa don't need any Roach in his corner! Ismael Salas is a greatly prepared Cuban amateur coach who knows Yuriorkis since an early age! Yuriorkis would do well with basically any good trainer, he is " loaded " with talent!

Same goes for Rigondeaux!!!

 

How can this question be answered when Rigondeaux only has 5 professional fights? Too early; Rigondeaux needs to be tested by better opposition. Skill wise, Rigondeaux is more polished than Gamboa however.

 

These " bums as you ignorantly called them " have won more Olympic Golds and World Amateur Championships than the whole Team USA combined in the last 7 years, they will be the next great force to be reckoned with in the next 2 to 7 years!!!

The 2 Cuban beasts fighting? Man, I don't want to see that as a Cuban. First I want them to clean their divisions and if after that they want to go at it, then so be it.

Rigo is extremely talented and Gamboa is superb... I can't really make up my mind.

 

For Now gamboa is better since he faced better opposition but I think in the future rigo will end up being better and gamboa is not faster than rigo at throwing one punches maybe multiple.In cuba rigo constantly beat gamboa in sparring matches.In the future both will be in the p4p rankings.
