I would love to get an article like that on Ross, Canzoneri and McLarnin.

i really think if you (stonehands) could extend your book to the top 20, including others that we all love, your book would not only fly out the shops but be regarded as a classic.... your articles are that good

Another great job!...Looking forward to hearing about that tall, rangy teenager with ambition in his eyes.

    Addendum:
BTW, gotta love that Armstrong placement! Top three and rightfully so.

That vignette about the "tall, rangy teenager with ambition in his eyes" is just there to pull together the beginning of the article with the end. Remember Armstrong's saga began with a newspaper in the wind. Who's to say another nameless young fighter didn't begin the same way?

PS/ That Armstrong placement was primarily due to your persuasive powers, my friend. He was ranked lower until you straightened me out and forced me to look at it again. So take a bow. And keep your eye out for the last article of the series ("The God of War") because you and two others from ESB Classic are given due in the credits.
