Possibly so, but I think his point is that he shouldnt have been allwed to continue wehn the broken jaw was discovered.

Why? Because of a broken jaw? Ali fought with one once and nobody complained. Why is it differen here?

If I remember correctly, Miranda headbutted him before he could knew AA had the jaw broken. Miranda fought dirty no questions there. But in the first 4 rounds didn´t happen enough for a DQ, and the fight should have been stopped by then.

You got a point there. But I think the doctor or the trainer should have stopped it nevertheless. It was dangerous without a doubt. At least that was my impression from watching it on the TV-screen.;)

Yep. He fought Norton with a broken jaw in his first fight with Norton.

Yep, and Frazier broke his jaw too, only that was late in the fight.
But why is that suddenly an issue now? They let him continue and he still won, and he won the rematch in devestating fashion with a 4th round TKO!
I guess it only adds to his ability to overcome almost everything with his awkward style, power and determination. That's why I can't see Dirrell taking the win here other than with a robbery the likes you never seen before, but I can't see him last the distance also.

AA is a determined fighter that you have to not only take his undefeated record, you have to rip it off like clothes on a woman when you're about to get sexual with her. I don't see Dirrell going the distance with AA either but on a small note what fight did Frazier break his jaw? I forgot which one.

In the 14th or 15th (not sure) round of the Ali - Frazier 1 bout, when Frazier knocked Ali down. Ali's jaw looked almost as bad as AA's vs Miranda.

It was definetly too dangerous to have Abraham continue with a jaw as badly broken as it was. He could have got killed with a punch tearing off the fractions of the bone so the whole face would get torn. It was just Abrahams defensive skill that did not allow Miranda to land more than one more punch on his jaw.

However, it's pure bull**** of the well known die hard partisans that this somehow shows how much better Miranda was, and how he "beat him up". Miranda was in the shape of his life, faster and more powerful than ever before or after, and landed a very good trick shot (right hand feint followed by a left uppercut) that Abraham didn't expect, looking for his own big punch. Miranda landed a zillion of low blows without punishment, and people have the nerve to complain about a deduction on a punch that was "just barely low". "I mean, ok, he shot 10 times at him with a 9mm, but, he almost missed! You cannot punish him for that!"

Frazier didn't break Ali's jaw, Norton did. Ali's jaw was very swollen in an interview he did not too long after his first fight with Frazier.

It is as hard for you to get a girl naked as it is for Dirrell to hand AA his first loss?

Yup you are right. AA was allowed to continue the fight and that was the wrong decision in my opinion. However he won the fight after that cause he landed the cleaner punches and even got Miranda hurt in the 9th round (or 10th) and of course because of the point deduction, which was justified.

Back to topic. My prediction stays as it is: KO win for AA in the 10th round via body shot.:bbb
