All this bull**** about Arum and Kelly giving Paul a deal is a moot point. Really it is...

They didn't do any of that until AFTER Goosen, Peterson, and Paul said "No more." They said this before the Sergio fight, and they meant it. Paul's career will move forward the best way possible without Kelly Pavlik.

I understand that injuries/illnesses happen in boxing. Is THAT hard to understand? You believe this staph infection made up like "Team Williams" claims? It was a way to get out of the fight? Please. If Paul was a good business man and thought he could beat Pavlik, THAT would be the deal to make. I think he is a good business man and knows NOT to make that deal. :yep

 

To be honest, I consider you a general boxing fan. If you have a favorite fighter, I don't know who it is. I know you said you put the guy in your avatar to get him some recognition.

Martinez did not have time to train and still beat the crap out of Williams. Good thing Williams had his judges to protect him. Can you imagine if Martinez had had time to have trained? Williams was exposed, now he is in hiding.

Rational people don't act against their financial best interest just to hold a grudge. If Williams' team doesn't want to deal with Pavlik's team, even though they stand to make more money from fighting Pavlik than from fighting anyone else, then there must be a reason for it. Think for about 20 seconds instead of having infantile reactions and you'll see where I'm coming from.

And I don't think too many people would be on your side that Cintron is a better boxer than Pavlik.

I know you can agree that the WW division is the "money" division in boxing right now!!

If PW was to fight KP and beat KP convincingly what money would PW be able to make fighting in a dried up MW division? Name one "money" fight in the MW division besides KP?

With the new buzz coming back in the WW division with PBF,Pac,SSM,Cotto,Clottey,Berto ect....... wouldn't it be a better financial move for PW to stay as close to 147 as possible?

BTW if PW was having problems getting fights at 147 with the top WW what do you think would happen if he beat KP!?!?!? PW ain't ready for 168:nono
