why do you guys keep saying pac will stop clottey?

The way I see it is Clottey's going to throw few punches. Most of the fight he'll have his hands shell up in front of his face. The few times he does land on Manny it'll just jerk his head back like Cotto did. Thing is, while Clottey will be shelled up Manny is going to throw punches from all angles.

From the styles makes fights point of view, I don't see Clottey being very competetive..

yeah but again, when you fight in spurts, it wont look like you landed more. hes got good skills but if he get let his hands go a little more, work the jab, and still maintain that high guard defense, he could very well last the distance, while losing a clear decision. a pacquiao ko is not inevitable

 

Agreed. Though, Clottey just doesn't have that concussive snap that a natural puncher does.

I don't know if Clottey's getting knocked out but he's definitely getting knocked down. Cotto knocked Clottey down with a left straight and we all know thats Manny's money punch.

Well, Cotto stepped in with his jab at a PERFECT moment when Clottey was just about to open up. Caught him perfectly.

But I don't doubt Pacquiao can floor him if he catches him cleanly.
