I'm willing to bet you Pacman will not stop Clottey...you're seriously overrating his power...Nobody is doubting Manny's ability but you on the other hand are overrating his power...Clottey is a big strong WW and Manny is going to have to take the fight out of Clottey to make him quit and I seriously doubt that happens!

 

atsch Jesus...what fight do you guys watch? If you actually watched the fight you would know that the Knock down came from Clottey being of balance....I take you didnt see the fight if you try to assume thats Cotto "power jab" was the cause of that knock down...Why didnt Clottey look hurt when Cotto backed him into a corner and hit him with every thing except the kitchen sink????

there's a first time for everything and Pac's been steamrolling EVERYBODY since the 2nd marquez fight.

 

Given his toughness and size I wouldn't pick anyone at 154 or under to KO or TKO Clottey, and that includes Pac. Pac will win a decision though, and probably not a terribly close one.

Pac will stop Clottey. You are underrating Pacquiao's all-round abilities... again.

Clottey is slow, basic, and one-dimensional.

You think a simple cover-up defence is going to be enough against Pac? Think again.

Pac can smash him to the liver, then when the hands come down go to the head.

In saying that, I think Pac's tactic will be to draw Clottey out, and to punch with speed whenever Clottey is throwing before he can get behind the peek-a-boo.

Pac throws punches from all angles, he punches with great speed and great power, and he has become deadly accurate.

The punches which led to the 1st and 3rd Hatton KDs, the punch which led to the 2nd Cotto KD, these are punches that the opponent does not see coming and which therefore connect with devastating effect.

Clottey was dropped by a jab from Cotto, because he wasn't prepared for the punch. Pac will not KO Clottey with a single shot, but as the rounds go past and he starts to land more and more rapid, unexpected shots, Clottey will crumble.
