My question is who really wants to see briggs get bashed by a bloke who got bashed by mundine. Where is danny lately anyway. Pretty quiet.. perhaps building a case for his hand wraps.
All bull**** again,as usual. I could write all the same stuff i write if i was a green supporter and youd be like..good post mate, well written mate. But god forbid he likes mundine:|:|:|so ill try to make a fool of him. Your not smart enough fool.
Yes, you're right, in fact, who wants to see anyone who's been beaten by anyone fight anyone else. They should introduce a new rule into boxing that once you lose you have to retire, because we would never want to see someone who has lost to 1 fighter ever fight again. sludge meet logic, logic meet sludge. Please try to get along
"what you say is what you are" :| "If that's what I am, what does that make you?" :| sludge is unravelling :rofl
i would of liked to see Green/Briggs in 2006-2007 myself but if Paul can get back into shape and has been sparring and the fire is still there this could be a great fight.
Perhaps team Mundine already think that rule is in place! It would go a long way to explaining Mundine's long list of 'safe' opponents - and division hopping from so many, most recently and very blatently Geale!! This content is protected
mate i know he wasnt keen on a rematch but to be fair choc beat him fair and square so mundine just moved along.
...to 154 and Medley! Mundine made all the right noises he was going to accept Geale II, even fought in Tassie as a build-up. Then he panicked and ran to 154! Mundine's the only guy I know who thinks the best way to climb a mountain is run around it yelling!
Do you think the rematch would have done the same amount of cash/ profile as the first fight? If Mundine is to fight Geale again....Geale will need to pick up another title.....then the rematch wil be big
It cost Mundine a title NOT to fight Geale again! He was prepared to starve himself to 154 to get away from Geale II, under the guise that it was for Medley's IBO title. Then, by not making weight etc, he didn't even have that as an excuse for ducking Geale! Don't tell me he fought Medley for the money! But then again, what the hell did he fight Medley for, other than to duck Geale?!
If you think it was Mundines weight issues that stopped the fight going ahead at 154 for the IBO your wrong IMO....it was Khoder trying on the crap with the IBO that got the fight scraped. Medley V Mundine didnt make the same money are Geale v Mundine did.....however all I was saying is if Geale "WINS" another title the rematch will be huge. He fought Medley at 160 because a title was no longer on the line and it was only 7 days out when Khoders **** hit the fan.
I agree it looked bad. However Mundine will go to JM again if the right fight comes along.....dont worry about shooting me down for this statement...lets just wait and see.
