Now that we have four of the best welter weight scheduled to fight (Paquiao vs Clottey, Mayweather vs Mosley) , and if you add Cotto vs Berto as the third fight, how do you think the outcome of the super six tournament would be??

What about a "Super" six instead of the bum fights! Lets use the best six welters.

    Theres too much money involved.

How about a 140lbs tournament with some showtime fighters like Devon Alexander, Timothy Bradley, Edwin Valero, Kendall Holt and Nate Campbell(or Mike Alvarado)

Or how about the fact that Clottey walks in at 170 come fight night, and has never been stopped, facing physically more imposing men than Pacquiao?

    Pac by UD.

I would expect Mayweather to come out on top. Truth be told, he's a horrible stylistic match up for any of the top welterweights out there.

Wouldn't put Cotto in there, it would be cruel. I would make it Berto-Bradley.

    Group Stage 1
    Mayweather W UD Mosley
    Pacquiao W UD Clottey
    Berto W SD Bradley

    Group Stage 2
    Mayweather W UD Clottey
    Mosley W UD Berto
    Bradley W SD Pacquiao

    Group Stage 3
    Mayweather W UD Bradley
    Pacquiao W UD Mosley
    Berto W UD Clottey
*Tie breaker would be rounds won, Mosley would win the most of those

    Bracket Stage
    (1)Mayweather W UD (4)Mosley
    (2)Pacquiao W UD (3)Berto

    Championship Stage
    (1) Mayweather W UD (2) Pacquiao

People overrate the **** outta Bradley...he's not even a WW, and how the ****kkk wud he SD with Pacquaio?! I don't even like Pac that much, but he would destroy Bradley, especially at 147.

What about adding Margarito? I would say, aside from the hand wrap ****, he is still one of the best in the division.

Super Six format doesn't really work at Welterweight because after the initial 4 guys the drop off is pretty steep. Maybe Margarito at 5, but Plasterfist tried to cheat against Mosley and cheated against Cotto then where should he really be ranked, Cotto is damaged goods, and Clottey hasn't won a big one against anybody.

The Middleweight Championship Series(the one that Bernard Hopkins KO'd Trinidad in) set up is much better for the Welterweight Division. Rank each guy based on their current Pound for Pound rankings and go from there.

    1. vs. 4.
    2. vs 3.
    Championship

This is much better as it only takes a year to year and half to complete. We don't run the risk of locking guys out of the division like what happened with Bute in the Super Six.

I think its you that needs to learn the sport mate. Im willing to admit I may be wrong, anythings possible, but i very much doubt it. KO6 pac is a crazy prediction against a man who has never been stopped or even close to it

i like that idea, maybe throw in Malignaggi and Khan in there and we can get a Super Eight going on in there
