how can he test positive, then test negative? surely if his records have been lost, they treble test him to make sure whether he is positive or negative. If he's negative then give him his licence.
That was the worst thing I've ever seen. As Boxed Ears mentioned, the opponent was embarassing, the 1 second of Eye Of The Tiger was embarassing, and the rap music was embarassing. As was the ring announcer and the fight, which was barely Muay Thai but for a couple of knees and clearly staged. Look at the way he falls all over the place from that right hand and then is up, and look at the way he falls flat on his back from the left-hook, Tommy's poor acting in celebrating afterwards, and then the way he's up and fine when the result is announced.
It was a legit Muay Thai. Fat guy tried to use his knees but his paunch was springing them back down.
If Tommy Morrison can come back and fight the way he did in this fight, he can definitely be a force in the Heavyweight division and win a title in the Idaho territories.
Yes and no, they both wear boxing shoes and not taped bare feet and what I mean is that Tommy was only boxing... no kicks, no knees, no elbows, no clinching (although I hate that part). It just looked set up too make Tommy look good... but instead it makes him look rediculous. atsch
The guy was involved in a fixed/staged/fake fight and passed it off as legit. I don't ever want to see him fight again.
Yet every time he's about to fight in a place that has a commission that does testing, he mysteriously cancels the fight before it happens. In the past few years he's fought in West Virginia, Wyoming, Alabama and Mexico. There's a reason he's picking those places to fight. Anyway, even if he didn't have a contagious blood disease, the dude is toast. He was out of breath after less than a round last time he fought.
