Yeah i've notice that to ..both camp's where talking about each other at press conference . Do you think they got an gentlemen agreement or something like that ?

 

kelly pavlik is not ready for lucian bute yet. based on what ive seen lately from the super six fighters and from bute, him and ward are the goods at smw and should be for some time. bute and ward would probably be a boring affair but that's besides the point.

kelly needs to move up properly and work his way into a bute fight. bika maybe...he's got nothing to do now.

I remember at the press conference when Miranda was looking past Pavlik and going on about how he was gonna whip Taylor's ass when Al Haymon shouted out 'You got a tough opponent siting right there you better worry about tomorrow night'

You're right but Bute is a very serious boxer. He's going away from Montreal again for his camp and he will be ready. He has to. Against Miranda's power, you have to be ready. I am the one looking forward, seing plenty of big fights for my favourite boxer. All that can end with the first one...

 

And let me tell you from experience it is VERY VERY painful as a fan when you look past someone too. I was as confident if not more then most of you Bute fans going into the Pavlik fight. Miranda was getting all the attention and Pavlik was just sitting there quietly waiting for fight night. I cant even describe my emotions when Miranda took that horrible beating and came up short. :verysad

Miranda was a 3 to 1 favorite that night. I think Bute will be even a bigger one. Miranda is under rated right now and many dont give him a chance. I guess we will see April 17th. Just dont be surprised because Bute is not going to walk all over Pantera.

 

Actually I'd like to see him showing us a new ko punch (like that short hook that dropped Andrade ) rather then using that left to the body

 

That's what I think too.

 

I'm pretty sure Goossen will put up a strategy to defend against the left to the body and that might open up others places on Miranda's body to knock him out. It will be interesting to see how Miranda defends himself.

 

Miranda had already started to show an improved defense against Ward prior to going with Goosen. P2K may remember that I urged him to have Pantera show some patience in the second AA fight. I still believe that is his biggest problem. If Goosen has helped with this, Bute is in for a long night. I'm still thinking he gets a decision. My best guess anyhow.
