Mosley: "I'm Just As Fast As Mayweather, Just As Slick, And I Can Outbox Him Too"

Mind games. Mosley knows he can't outbox him. Floyd is just too ****ing accurate with his shots and Mosley's defense is C-B level at best. Floyd lands easily on fighters with better defense then Shane so I hope Nazim doesn't try to change Mosleys style too much because it will just make things worse.

Get off first and just outwork and bully Floyd. Make it rough and ugly and Shane takes it in much easier fashion than anyone expects imo.

 

It dose not matter, we all know that if mosley has to fight, he is going to fight, he has 12 rounds to figure out the mayweather problem, he will try his speed, his physical advantages, reach, size. Somthing is going to get to mayweather eventually, the big question is, is Mayweather going to be able to take the heat, its been a while since hes fighting someone this dangerous.

I like shanes attitude, hes a confident guy and he should be, hes a great fighter. But im going with floyd, just a better boxer and floyd can scrap too if he needs it imo

 

This has to be a bluff because Mosley doesn't know how to fight on the outside. He's completely lost trying to box like that. And it's a terrible plan.

And please, before you get all hot and bothered over Shane's reach advantage and how he's going to outjab Floyd and force him to come in, consider this:

Vernon Forrest - 73" reach
Winky Wright - 72" reach
Miguel Cotto - 67" reach
Floyd Mayweather - 72" reach
Shane Mosley - 74" reach

Yup, Shane had a reach advantage on EVERY guy that beat him. Yes, Wright and Forrest were taller (much taller for Forrest, just slightly for Wright) but Mosley had an in or so on both (just like he does on Floyd) and it made NO different. He still got stuck at the end of their punches all night. Hell, Cotto, with his little dwarf arms, kept Shane at the end of HIS jab for much of the fight.

Mosley's full of ****. He's going to be the aggressor, he's going to try to rough Floyd up, clinch, dirty box, and do whatever else he can get away with because the only way he wins is if it's a fight, not a boxing match.

 

Floyd hasn't scraped in a while plus he stands a slim to none chance trying to outscrap Mosley. His best bet is to turn it into a chess match and not a war.

 

i cant be ****ed to do the research but apart from Oscar, i cant think of a single guy that Floyd fought which had a longer reach than him.

Mosley's jab aint great but it's adaquate and he can use his reach as an advantage.

Well, just from that comment I am betting on Floyd. Trying to beat Floyd at his own game isn't something Shane should even attempt.

 

its funny brother naz great game plan did not work last week on friday night fights when his fighter got ko'ed by glen johnson.......i have 1 question, when has shane out boxed anyone within the last 7 years?
