Jones had no Chin and no plan B. He also never beat a lineal, unified, or undisputed champion in his whole career.

You guys know that dariusz michealewski should have been the wba, wbc, ibf, and wbo champion at light heavy right? But due to politics he was stripped and only retained his wbo belt.....

Roy just picked up his vacated titles, and danced around the usa claiming he was a champion. Trying to force the really owner of those titles to come half way across the world in roys backyard to take them back??

Roy probobly would have beat him in his prime, but the ducking is blatant. :patsch

Why do people discredit Mayweather for fighting the lineal Champ in Baldo if it means so much?

Also, Roy Jones held the Ring Light Heavyweight belt for years, and fighters will tell you that is the most important belt.

That wasnt his belt to be had!!!

1994 sept 10 dariusz wins wbo title

1997 june 13 dariusz wins ibf, wba title

Why was he not the ring champion???

at the time dariusz held wbo, ibf, and wba roy was only the wbc champ??

A biased magizine title means ****

No, DM did not want to come to America to fight Roy, and Roy did not want to go abroad to fight him... There was not blatant ducking.

Ring Magazine has hated on Roy Jones for years. I highly doubt they are bias towards him.

The ONLY reason Roy got The Ring belt was because the WBA and IBF stripped DM and Roy got the trinket belts. So he had the WBC, WBA, IBF and was given The Ring belt based on this. He then dropped the WBC then decided he wanted it back and the rest is history lawsuit which the WBC of course lost etc. Jones was a scrap belt collector. Nothing more.

Scrap belt collector that defeated multiple all time greats, fighter of the decade. First man in 100 years to get a middleweight title and move up and get a heavyweight title...

Scrap belt or not, no one else has done it in 100 years.
