Don't know much about Victor Cayo. Who has seen him fight and what can you tell me about the kid's fighting style? Does he have a good shot vs Maidana? It seems he fought Julio Diaz and got a UD on a FNF card not too long ago.. guess I missed that one...

pffftttt don't even try overrate Maidana like he's the next best thing at 140. The guy is basically a journeyman who had his shining moment against a chinless and overblown version of Rey Boom Boom Bautista- minus Bautista's guts. Victor Ortiz is a hypejob and GBP got what it deserve. Now they are feeding on Maidana, another overblown hypejob who would probably disappear from the scene within this year just like that bum Breidis presscot lol

Calm down. No one is overrating Maidana. All we know is that he beat a prospect who many "experts" and fans thought had potential. Some still think he does. We know too llittle about Maidana to call him the next best thing or a BUM. All I know about Maidana is that he is exciting and I enjoy watching him fight. After all, win or lose, isn't that what fans want? :bbb

To answer your question, I haven't seen too much of Cayo either.

Lets just hope to see a good old fashion brawl! :happy

As part of the contract they both have agreed not to fight Amir Khan for a year.

    GBP hard at work again.

I saw Cayo's fight with Diaz on FNF. He's a fighter who drops his hands down all the time its the way he fights its quite ridiculous considering he doesn't have the fastest reflexes out there and he did get caught with some good punches by Diaz.

Marcos could catch him early and end the night.

Maidana looked impressive against Ortiz, but, Ortiz has never been tested. Against Kotelnik, Maidana looked regular. Cayo has the skills to beat Maidana. I feel like Cayo will put on a clinic as long as he doesn't get careless.

Cayo fights very wild, tries to be like a poor man's Roy Jones. I imagine his chin will get severely tested this fight.
