    Hop by late stoppage.

He's going to be gunning for Roy. No doubt about it. He wants to embarrass him.

I'm going to go against the crowd here. If Roy stays smart I think he still has enough speed to frustrate BHOP.

Bhop wanted this fight in a bad way. I mean RJJr was just KOd in the 1st. Bhop win win by late stoppage. Im just hoping that he will then retire.

RJJ lost in his last fight. This fight was only made because of their names. Looks good on paper but the reality is that RJJ doesn't have it anymore.

Hopkins vs. Jones II. The big rematch! :sighs: This fight lost a lot of credibility when Roy Jones was knocked out in one round by Danny Green. If Jones had won, I would have really been looking foward to this fight. It may have even had an HBO 24/7 series. I was actually hoping that it would. Of course, it is still possible for a 24/7 show, though, now a countdown is more than sufficient. Please HBO, no more than one thirty minute reminder that this fight is taking place. Something about getting KO'd in the first round just doesn't suggest to me that Jones is ready for the slick, iron chinned, seemingly ageless, Bernard Hopkins.

My prediction for this fight is Hopkins W 12, but I think sometime in the later rounds he may get Jones in a bit of trouble. Of course, I do think it is entirely possible for Hopkins to stop Jones. I think Jones will try to play it safe once he realizes that he can't beat Hopkins, kind of like he did in his third fight against Antonio Tarver. Though, the third Tarver fight actually looked winnable for Jones. He still played it safe all the way to a clear loss to Tarver. I expect more of the same from Jones in this fight. Roy's style just isn't well suited for age and slowed reflexes. Oh yeah, and a not-so-great chin.

I have bashed this fight quite a bit, so I guess my next statement makes me a hypocrite. I intend to buy this fight. Something about these two ring legends fighting again, after all these years, is still interesting. Just not as interesting. I hope these guys have a good, clean, fight and hope no one gets hurt. May the best man win. I have already stated that I pick Hopkins to win. I will also be rooting for Bernard Hopkins, knowing well that a win doesn't mean as much as it would have before December 2nd. (Jones' KO loss to Green) Maybe Jones will suprise me and a lot of other people by coming out there and putting on a great performance. I doubt it, but I could be wrong. It wouldn't be the first time.

    bad fight for hopkins
what credit will he get for beating a guy that has been stopped in first round in previous bout?
