tough first fight for you but pressure should be off a little, if you lose - well he has a lot more experience than you and if you win fair balls to you, dont become over awed as he has more experience expect thats it gonna be tough in there and give a good account of yourself dont shell up if you think your getting outclassed, dig deep if you have to best of luck paloalto
Just had my first fight, got robbed... horribly. I ended up giving the guy a standing 8 count first round, I was well ahead. Second round, he came in more wild, my round except ALOT closer. 3rd round, mine but I get a standing 8 count... and then the ref stops it...... I will upload the video tomorrow. I **** you not, this ref was literally kicked out because he had so many shitty calls.
it won't be your last experience of a shitty ref. they don't lke seeing unanswered punches, as many as 3 or 4 and they'll step in. sorry about that mate.
That's the thing, I didn't get hit.... plus I had my hands up waiting to continue and he just stopped it....
Bummer mate, shitty refs will keep you honest, first fight is out of the way though and if you take it to the chin now no one cares about first fight in the long run. Looking forward to this vid. Don't let this loss discourage you paloalto.
I appreciate it man, it's just very discouraging to train hard and then getting cheated. *sigh* I'll stop my whining now, I should get the vid by Saturday I think
i've posted on here about a fight i had, before. i'd seen this ref before,a long streak of **** who'd never boxed and stopped contests for **** all.so when i get for him for one of my fights i got this lad on the ropes and let fly with little arm punches that wouldn't have gone through a wet newspaper. sure enough the ref stoped it.
