mate we all know boxers talk **** but green is more believable and takes the public with him,where as people say mundines full of **** and walk away.

Good post,:good:good:good:goodseems Green might have pissed a few supporters off who can finally see that he is full of ****.............at least Mundine has made or achieved whatever he has in boxing of his own back not off someone elses name hardwork and sweat.As i said Mundine should tell him to **** off or take the fight with if and when Mundine is ready with a 65/35 spilt Mundines way and if Danny dont like it he can chase the big fights himself which we all know aint going to happen so i reckon Mundine still holds the upper hand in negotiations and more importantly the bragging rights:bbb:bbb:bbb

Its a cruiser weight belt which even rjj said he only wanted to get so he could say he won 6 belts in total.
Just the fact rjj and hopkins is going ahead speaks volumes

 

I hate that Green has CONSTANTLY made excuses regarding weight for the loss to Mundine. It was his skill level that cost him that night. He has made as many excuses as Ricky Hatton did to his losses to Floyd and Pac.

 

Green has done very well for himself....congratz on 4 good wins that has set him up :good

Green has learnt a few things from the Mundine camp on how to make money in boxing

Hes now doing just that....he should stay away from Mundine...if they fight again...Mundine will be fired up and will smash him worse than the first fight

No.. Im actually serious... Geale throws better combinations, Vic has 10 x the power, Kats has 20 x the courage, Green takes on 100 x the caliber of fighter.... Medely offered more resistence to Mandy than RJJ offered Green. Mundine's currently being taught how to throw punches...

I'd go out on a limb and say Mundine's been the worst of occurances suffered by Australian boxing for decades.

 

This is very true. Green has really milked the "Aussie bloke" persona for all it's worth and it has worked for him. Similar to Ricky Hatton's "just one of the lads from a council estate" persona.
Irrespective of the wins you have mentioned for Green he will always be remembered in Australia for his loss to Mundine. As for a rematch at 175 later this year i believe it will be much closer than you hope. I still think Mundine might edge it though.
