well thats neither here nor there, hes still ducking him if he changes his mind, yas cant say that isnt an official duck, if this had of happened with mayweather then everyone would have been all over him for ducking mosley, its the same thing
The fight was offered to him, and they didn't go for it. I don't believe he 'changed his mind' or 'took the fight', where are you pulling this from? Are Mayweather and Mosley in the same division and around the same size? Can you not see the difference?
Im British you knob and whats wrong with it is Khan is a world champion, able to call himself the best in the world , you dont then take "easy options" if you do , then you are no kind of champ. He is 23 ( not far off his athletic peak years ) probably the UKs most naturally talented fighter yet he wants to sit on his belt fighting old men or guys with a 10 % KO ratio. thats what is pathetic !
yeh its a fair point, i thought they were in talks, so my bad as for the weight difference, marquez just fought mweather at a higher weight category, khans not so bad for wanting to take a big name like JMM on, especially if he sees this as winnable, i think khan just needs a bit more time..... hes a victim of his own success (or hype) though, hes not the first champion to avoid a mandatory in search of a bigger named fighter
i can see where u are comin from, but he has stated himself he wants the bigger fights, just give him time... hes still a little green, if we can see that then obvoiously he & roach know this also... not to mention GBP hes not taking the easy option in JMM, a lot (more than half) of people had him loosing this fight, when a fight with maidana, most people agreed he should/would outclass him completely and im sorry, it just gets on my nerves when people think ALL british fighters are duckers.. i justn think the lad needs a bit more time after haye hes the only one uyp there at the mo & i dont want britain to have no one, if taking a bit more time until hes ready is what it takes then so be it.... someone whos ducking doesnt do interviews naming how he could beat everyone & mention hes not ready for bradley yet, a ducker normally avoids their names in interviews, never mentions them or comes up with excuses for not fighting them i think within 2 years he'll have taken out most of the top tier boys & fought then lost to bradley
The answer is quite simple. He has lost already and another loss at this stage in his career would be devastating. He will avoid big bangers and top quality boxers who pose a big threat for as long as possible because he is afraid to lose before he becomes an established fighter. It bollocks but that is the way boxing is.
Ducking? ffs, he's not long moved up to the weight and is a young fighter making his way.. give the lad a chance to improve before you say he's ducking.. absolutley laughable. If he went in and faced bradley, its the type of people like you that would then be like 'oh he's ****, glass jaw, isn't at world level' blah blah, get a brain before posting.
yr the exact reason why khan left britain. lol hater. what hard fights shud he fight? Maidana? Khan became world champion in his 1st ever fight at 140, defeating Kotelnik, the same guy who defeated Maidana. i think khan is entitle to some easy money, obviously jealousy comes in here.
im not a fan of froch, i can stand his fights... he will fight anyone though so you have to give him his dues i think kessler will make easy work of him though, his styles just to unorthodox
I have great news everyone, Khan vs Maliganggi will probably happen in New York! Mark your calenders for May 15th Amir Khans American debut. Well, that just goes to show you type of competitor that Khan is that he is willing to go and fight a guy like Paulie on his home turf.
i'm not a fan of his style either but the guy has great heart. i'm not too sure about kessler atm, he could either come out fighting or take another beating and i ent gunna guess which way. just gunna enjoy the war.
I think khan has had plenty easy money already ! I was well chuffed for him when he won the title , which is why its hard to watch him ( imo ) going backwards Your argument is that he won the title so should thus have easy fights ?? I have high expectations for a guy clearly dripping talent why is that wrong ????
Im gonna give him the benefit of the doubt now that he could be fighting Malignaggi, its still fairly early in his career and this is his US debut, let him establish himself abit in the US, then fight guys like Bradley.
