Negative. Holyfield cracked Tyson, so he's not exactly slapping, but Ali stopped two guys with chins a level above this in Bonovena and Foreman. He's a better all round puncher, and proved himself as such.
Ali's stoppages of Bonavena and Foreman and nothing to do with his power nor the other guy's chin(s). Those were a result of stamina and outlasting the other opponent as well as an accumulation of many shots over a long period. Holyfield knocking out Douglas and Rodriguez with single shots along with decking Bowe and Mercer were a result of REAL power. There is a difference.
I really like Floyd and he was a good fighter in his own right, but Holy has just about too much of everything. He wins by TKO. It wouldn't be a Liston type beating, but the ref would stop it in the mid-later rounds.
Holyfield would knock the crap out of Floyd Patterson. Patterson had all the courage in the world and that might mean he lasts for maybe 8 or 9 rounds and gets beat up badly. For Floyd's sake I'd hope it would be over quicker, 3 - 5 rounds.
Foreman was exhaustion. Bonavena is his best stoppage. And he did that one with every bending of the rule he could (Not going to the corner and rushing after Oscar to get the stoppage). Holyfield stopped, KOed, and dropped more men more impressively than Ali ever did. He think he displayed his power and accuracy enough. Most historians rank Holyfield as a puncher somewhere on their list. Ali doesn't usually make it. Holyfield was a better puncher.

Ali might have hit harder than Holyfield on those rare occasions, but when we talk about punching power we tend to talk about general trends and consistency of a man's punching. Ali had the speed and strength to generate terrific power but most often he fought in a certain style and with a certain technique that didn't maximize his power. He generally threw a lot of arm-punches and slaps and punched at his opponent instead of through him. Having said that, Floyd Patterson may well have been able to stand up to quite a lot of Holyfield's punches, or at least keep getting up and keep coming. Whatever, Holyfield would beat the hell out of him some way or another. I think Holyfield beats all those guys from the 50s and 60s, except Ali and perhaps Marciano.
