    Mosley to beat PBF?????

Does it make any difference to all 3 legacy??

    Discuss :think

  2. It only makes a differance to Mosley and Floyd but more importantly Floyds Legacy.

Floyd is putting his prized and historical 0 up on the line against an older guy who lost to the guy Pacquaio just flogged.

If Mosley can win, it's the epic win he needs to finish a great career.

i think yes. arguably oscar beat mosley in mosley's prime so a past-prime mosley beating floyd would tremendouly boost mosley's legacy while indirectly affecting his "supposed" win over shane. also, mosley winning would probably give bigger payback to GBP since they are more in control of shane than floyd.

No I think Oscar is more interested in money than his legacy - which means he wants Floyd to win. He wants Floyd to win so he has a promotional stake in Mayweather/Pacquiao which will likely be made in the event of a Floyd victory...

PBF and ODLH don't like each other. They really despise the other however they are prepared to do business together because it makes sense.

Both guys get on okay with Mosley but this is business. PBF would have beaten Mosley at any time. No excuses that he is past his best, aging etc. He could have had this fight many many years ago but refused it because he had a toothache, Jin his ex-wife and former boss did not want it etc.

I may be kinder to these guys and their memories than most, but I don't think losing a couple fights at the end of your career is a horrible thing.

Boxing is unforgiving, and one day you got it and then it fades a bit...then its gone.

Ricky Hatton, for example, takes a lot of heat now and people trash talk his "legacy". But those two losses don't erase 45-2-0 (32 KOs), a great record. Only losses were to phenomenal, ATG fighters.

On the flip side of that argument is Roy Jones Jr.. Who had a great career, and is a future ATG, Hall of Fame fighter. You want to remember those fighters for what they were and what they accomplished, not for hanging around too long getting KO'ed by club fighters.

I think he definitely won them (and the record reflects that), but 'cleanly'? No. The second ODLH bout was the one that Shane admitted using PEDs for in his grand jury testimony, if I remember rightly.

The first was a classic, though.

    Oscar Legacy is sealed.
He has a ****ing statue in vegas like Philly has one of Rocky
Oscar wants money and it makes sense for Mayweather to win for him.

Perhaps not the ONLY person, but amongst the very few. Thos who have Mosley winning the 2nd fight are usually nuthuggers, and or haters.

Those who have Mosley winning the 2nd fight CLEARLY, are just plain retareded. ;)

Please go watch the second fight again. But if you had it clear for Mosley, I doubt it makes a difference.

Why people also PRETEND Mosley is justified in have the win and becoming the unified Jr. MW champion, and picking up his 4th strap in his 3rd division is beyond me. He ****ing CHEATED FFS!

I think De La Hoya wants Mosely to win, if Oscar had any kind of problem with Mosely I doubt he would have brought him into his business, also there were people who thought Oscar beat Mosely 2nd time round, some that thought he won 1st time around or drew and people who thought an old Oscar beat Floyd. Oscars legacy is very good whatever happens
