Although Khan should win he'll have some rough patches against Paulie whos got comparable handspeed. I think this is a tougher fight than Maidana. You don't have to hit Khan bloody hard to hurt him but you do have to hit him. Malignaggi is far more likely to catch Khan than Maidana.
I see a Willie Limond scenario here.

I agree and I am not the biggest Khan fan but this will be a belter of a fight, it will be good to see how Khan deals with someone with alot of speed.

Does anyone think that Khan will be able to walk through Paulie's weak punches?!?

There is no way GB was going to risk it and put him in with someone with KO power becuase if he got knocked out he could be finished and lets face it they want to mike there newest cash cow first :good

They put Ortiz in with Maidana.

Wasn't he supposed to be the "New Golden Boy"?

    Exactly...

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me...

    They obviously underestimated Maidana.

They might have been cashing out on Ortiz?

    Anyone thought about that?

ortiz will come back and will still be a money maker for golden boy. i think an undefeated record means less in the states then it seems to some of our british promoters.

I don't think Khan will Knock out Paulie. This is an interesting match up. At least he is fighting a genuine world class boxer. I wouldn't write off Paulie to win this though. Even though his power is non existant, he does have good skill and looked good in his last fight against the baby bull.

Just out of interest, who would you pick out of Khan vs Baby Bull Diaz at LWW?

This fight is the opposite of the "Unstoppable force vs immovable object" ie Paulies punch vs Khans chin!

Maybe it should be called "The weak force vs The very movable object"!

    They ****ed up.

GBP originally wanted to put Ortiz in with Kotelnik but he ended up signing to fight Khan. So Ze Germans said, "sorry Kotelnik's fighting someone else but you can the guy that Kotelnik beat in his last fight! What's more, the WBA will even sanction it for their interim title!"

Richard Schaefer was like "**** yeah, I'll have some of that. If this Maidana bloke lost to Kotelnik he can't be all that."
