Tua needs to beat a top contender to deserve such a high ranking.

    9. Adamek
    10. Boytsov

Boytsov needs some more fights before fighting a Top-Heavyweight, but in a few years he could be somewhere at the top of the division. I don“t know if Chagaev comes back, but if he does, he deserves a place in the Top-10.

I hope Haye-Vitali and Povetkin-Wlad happen in the near future. Haye-Povetkin would be great too.

I'd have Boytsov in there and bump either Peter or Solis. Tua's too high

Haye is probably a few places too high for my tastes as well, but Adamek doesn't belong anywhere near the Top 10 yet, after only two fights at HW, one of them against an entirely unranked fighter and the other a lackluster struggle against a fighter on the fringes of only some people's Top 10 lists. Valuev being somewhere in the middle-to-bottom of the Top 10 sounds about right too.

I'd tweak it slightly to be more like this:

    1. Vitali (his great 2009 allowed him to catch up to and surpass his brother)
    2. Wlad
    3. Povetkin
    4. Chambers
    5. Arreola
    6. Haye
    7. Valuev
    8. Chagev
    9. Boytsov
    10. (sigh) Ruiz

But as far as I'm concerned anything below #7 is vacant...

Adamek is one of my favourite fighters but he is too small to be a hw and has done nothing at the weight except beat a washed up Golota who was coming off a 1st round loss to Ray Austin, and featherfisted Estrada who caused him all sorts of problems. Solis' only significant victory is over Barrett who is a decent gatekeeper but nothing more, it doesn't warrant him being in my list.

Ruiz hasn't convincingly lost since losing to Jones. Since then he has wins over Rahman a former and future champion, Oquendo and Golota when they were top contenders, and since then lost 2 close SDs to Valuev and one to Chagaev, and dominated McCline who was a contender at the time. Valuev has a very good record and a number of wins over top contenders, Solis, Boytsov etc. haven't fought anyone as good.

I'm not sayiing they are less talented, just that they haven't proved their talent yet. When they do I'll move them up and I'll be glad to, I don't like huggy bear Ruiz either.

I like what i have seen of Botysov but i don't think he is top 10 just yet, and Solis was very impressive last time out.

A fit and motivated David Tua beats everyone below him on that list IMO although i think the ultra cautious Klits would be able to keep him at bay and win a decision

    The champs

    1 Vitali
    2 Wlad

    The classy contenders

3 Haye (most proven, whatever people like to spout)
    4 Povetkin
    5 Solis

    Consistently there/thereabouts
    6 Chagaev
    7 Valuev
    8 Ruiz

    Best of the rest
    9 Chambers
    10 Arreola
