Yeah, after Cintron moved up, rather than fight Clottey, Clottey did an interview on youtube where he says something like "Excuse me of my language but Cintron is a poo-see" So I guess he wasn't ready to go to 154 to chase after him.

IMHO he should worry about being a winner first and land big fights second.

If he could take over 154, which has not been done in a long time, he is looking at potential big fights against welters and middles.

At least he would be at his best. Now all he does is lose to the best.

I enjoyed that interview. He's a good honest guy. But if he had weight problems he should of moved up.

How can you not like Josh Clottey?

Josh even kept it real on Manny and PEDs. A little sly joke in there too if you caught it.

Because 2 more pounds is huge. I was a wrestler my whole life, and there is no way I could have dropped 2 more pounds below my weight class when I was cutting 10 pounds every week just to make weight

Everyone seems to understand this very simple concept except people who try to defend a certain fighter who made another fighter who was already having problems making his weight; drop two more pounds to defend his title...:good

So just curious but...is he sort of admitting he's going to fade late in this fight as well?

I like what this thread is saying, and kind of puts to rest the claim of pac
on PEDS. Trying to lose 15-20 lbs of a weight in which you are in good shape as an athlete cannot be good for you and will hamper your abilities.
fighters do it for the money though but suffer greatly for it. What is happening to pac and adamek is that they are discovering that they can fight better when they fight at a weight that they can make just by training while being fully hydrated. They don't have to take diuretics, enema's(ugh), colonics at the last minute, eat like a bird days leading up to a fight, dry out or whatever else they have to do. If you can eat lots when training you will always be better for it. I never understood being a former fighter myself how a guy could weigh-in at 154 at 9:00am on a friday, and then weigh-in at 165 or even 170 just 30 hours later, or in clottey's case he once weighed 170 in a welter bout. WTF?!
Manny is preforming better as he moves up primarliy because he
is healthier than his opponent come fight time.

  12. I would love to see any of those fights for Clottey, he needs a decent high profile win other than Zab.

this guys full of ****ing ****, he aint that big, he's just making **** excuses on his crappy ko percentage.

he find it hard to make 147 because he says he's big? look at his ****ing dimensions??? he's only 5'8" and reach of 70 inch.

there#s ****ing Paul williams at 6'1" reach of 82 inches now thats ****ing big and he can make 147

mosley 5'9" reach 72 , floyd 5'8.5" , magarito 5' 11", etc etc all have bigger dimensions than Clottey.

    Clottey = full of ****

Who are you to say he has a hard time making 147?
