If those are real quotes, they pretty much sum up Floyd's personality in a nutshell...not that there is anything wrong with that.

Yea I heard that interview, I don't see whats wrong with the quotes?

Do you live your life any differently?

It seems to me that you are implying that these quotes confirm something about his personality in the ring, but what exactly I'm unsure of!

    Care to explain?

when you see boxing greats suffer from financial set back, how many fans open up thier homes and put money in the hand of these fighters and help them get back on thier feet?

    exactly.

Floyd, after making one of the largest purses in the history of the sport, retires for 2 years and ends up owning the IRS 7 million dollars....

He's ****ing screwed. Foreman and Holmes are the smart ones investing in businesses and real estate.

He stated that he loves his fans. What more can you ask for? I don't see anything wrong with putting your family and yourself first before the fans. Fans are important but it shouldn't be a master/slave type of relationship.

So he owed IRS 7 Million and? What does that have to do with him as a boxer?

He's hardly screwed as he can probably continue to earn large sums for the next 2 years with ease....

I never said Floyd was Warren Buffet.

I just said that for any fighter his career no matter how it pans out the fans aren't there when the camera's are off. Look at Gerald McClellan. He doesn't have fans sending him money or visiting him. Self preservation allows for life after boxing financially and physically.

hes boxed for 15yrs making money. He's shown she gambles a **** ton and obviously is just another ghetto kid with money as he blows it like its going out of style.

The point is he's going broke just like most other boxers, whether he looks out for himself or not.

Owing the IRS 7 million bucks by itself doesn't mean he has no money, it means he has enough to make him owe at least 7 million in taxes.

Well I think thats impossible for you to know PBF's financial status......and the fact that you are judging him on it says alot about you.

Even if he eventually going to be broke so what, that means he should put his fans before himself and his family? :-( we'll agree to disagree.

There is nothing wrong with what he said, it's just some people want to try and find something negative to say about him. If any other boxer had said this quote you would be acting very differently.

And why is he a ghetto kid? As far as I know Nicholas Cage, Brooke Shields, Michael Jackson even Arnie had IRS problems are they ghetto kids too?
