    Gaz S, do you own Driscolls old gym?

    TFFP's list was similar to mine so I wont bother posting it.

    But Wilde, Driscoll and Welsh are firmly at teh top.

    Good action, thanks. Robsons trunks were a bit , err, revealing, quite put me off my lunch :oops:...it never occurred to me before but the old fighters don't seem to be wearing protectors...when did they come into play? What size gloves were Driscoll and Robson using there? 5oz?

    Im not sure when ball guards came into play but theres a good chance they werent wearing gum sheilds as Ted Kid Lewis started them in the 20s I think.

    Also I think the gloves would have been 3 or 4oz gloves

    4/5 oz gloves, no gumshields or foul cups as far as I know.

    8 mins to slow Flea.

    That footage of Driscoll is one of the most impressive perforances I have ever seen by any boxer.

    :lol::lol:

    He is just superb one of the best examples of a classical boxer we have on film. I only pick the elite Feathers to beat him like Pep.

    I really need to research more Ginger Greb.

    It was, but no for Driscoll, did he even get hit in that film?

    Nothing flush...you have to say that Robson must have been a double hard *******...he took an uppercut about 1:38 into the fight that alone would have stopped a lot of men. Tough hombres

    Robson was a pretty decent fighter himself and I beleive this was there second meeting and driscoll had seen better days
