My opinion is: I dont give a **** who floyd lives for. He puts God and Family first....Fans dont get in the ring and suffer the after effects so you cant always do everything they want you to do. For those boxers who always talk about them doing things for the fans, I appreciate you and I also know that they dont....Its just the wording and floyd is a little more blunt with what he says, and i appreciate that because i am seeing the real him...And he do thank his fans...

As far as him saying it in a nicer way so it doesnt come off so negative...Who gives a ****. Grow some ****ing tough skin and dont read so deep into what he is saying... why would your feelings be hurt because of what someone says that you dont even know and you dont know his context...Right now Floyd is my favorite boxer but i dont give a **** about him and he knows that deep down his fans dont give a PERSONAL **** about him so why wouldnt he put his health first....

Lastly just because he is always flossing what he has (which I dont necessarily agree with) doesnt mean that he isnt investing in real estate, stocks, etc... he just aint telling you. People really make themselves look dumb with their assumptions that lead to strong statements....

  3. As a boxer, Floyd is just awesome. Amazing. One of the best ever.

As a person he is utter scum.

Can you imagine a tennis player saying the **** he does? I say tennis because it's not a team sport. Roger Federer for example. "I live for Roger Federer. Not for the fans." No. Couldn't picture it. He's an ambassador for the sport. Floyd is a puss filled boil on the sport.

It's not even being phony to comment on Floyd's quotes...it's just down right corny, and it shows the lack of character in posters to shite on Floyd's quotes lol... These are the internet bullies who make people with low self esteem commit suicide lol. Then they try to deal with a poster like me, and I shite on them and make them feel sad lol... Thanks Eastsideboxing. I'll by your online psychiatrist if need be lol...

“I live for Floyd Mayweather. I don’t live for the fans.”

"I love the fans but I live for myself. Self preservation is first.”

“I must be happy first before I can make anybody else happy.”

  6. You're not doing very well defending him Nallege. Posting the same quotes over and over doesn't really help.

I have no problem with that. Fans don't provide him with houses, food, college tuition for his daughter, etc.

    good stuff, completely agree

  9. I think you'll find the fans indirectly provide most of that for him!! It's the fans who buy his PPVs, who buy tickets to see him fight, who pay to watch him on CCTV, who buy his merchandise etc. Without the fans, he wouldn't make half as much money.

Most fans buy his fights to see him lose. Yes they provide money but not all of it goes to him.

  15. I don't see anything wrong with it. Why would you put fickle ass boxing fans first. Are the hatin ass boxing fans gonna be there when you have troubles in your life or when you are sick or braindead from getting ****ed up in the ring? No.....they are not. Floyd is a great fighter and thats all we give a **** about. I only want to see him do good because there will not be another fighter as technically adept at boxing as him for a looong time.
