Floyds smear campaign of Manny continues. He's using every media platform to bash Manny. Its kind of sad. You can really see he's very jealous and envious of the adulation Manny gets. Floyd is turning 33 this year and he still acts like he's in high school.
So Diaz was the best at 135 despite being considered the weakest of the major organization champions? Hatton was the best at 140 when Pac fought him, despite not having unified or even attempted to? In the 4 years since he'd won the title at 140 Hatton had fought 5 times at that weight, but he was the undisputed best? Even though he didn't fight Bradley, or Peterson, or Witter, or any of the other guys in the division he could have fought? And Cotto was the undisputed best at 147? Even though he'd lost his belt to Margarito, and only picked up a vacant title after the fact? Mosley was the recognized linear champ and the man at 147 based on his win of Margarito, and Pac wouldn't fight him even when Shane agreed to come down to 143 pounds. Pac hasn't fought the best anywhere since 130 pounds. He's done the same thing Mayweather did...jump up in weight looking for easy belts and big money fights. He hasn't cleaned out divisions, unified, or taken the toughest challenges.
Sasakul @ 112, Barerra @ 126, and Hatton @ 140. At 130 he beat the best in the division to establish a new lineage.
of course. 147 is neither a weight class also. my point is if floyd i bashing pac because of weight, he should see it that he is pulling the bigger **** when he fought jmm. it does not matter if it is not a championship fight. jmm is a champion at 135.
Pac ain't breaking PPV records without Floyd, and the opposite is likely true as well, although maybe May-Mosley pushes 2 million. So, take a break and hop off Manny's ****.
goes to show that you will discredit him no matter what. Even when he surpasses your own criteria, you find another reason to take him down. I guess you'll only appreciate him when he's retired.
was floyd fighting for a belt at that weight, like pacman was that suddenly made him the champ at the weight he didn't even fight at, oh and not being sarcastic i honestly don't know lol. esb gets me so mad am arguing with everyone.
he won a vacant title at 130 right? sorry, but that is not the definition of lineal his first try, he lost to morales his second try he won a vacated title i could be wrong, but thats what memory tells me
147 pounds is the upper limit of the welterweight class, 145 isn't, what is hard to understand about that? Floyd took issue with Pac forcing the welterweight champion to put his welterweight belt on the line at a weight limit that was below the welterweight limit. It had nothing to do with the weight, it had to do with the fact that there was a belt involved and the man holding the belt wasn't allowed to weigh in at the actual limit of his weightclass. I don't konw how much more clear I can make it. Not a question of weights, a question of belts.
so floyd was not fighting for belt that it is ok to pull that **** anymore? floyd is criticizing pac for fighting for cotto's belt at catchweight of 145 while he and his team retired to avoid the same cotto back then in 2007 saying floyd i not a ppv attraction.
its funny how you were referring to "the true warriors who beat the best in a weight" and now slagging Pac for fighting for a WW title at 145. Did you know that Henry Armstrong won the WW title at a catchweight of 142? that Chavez and Whitaker fought for a WW title at a catchweight of 145? that Hopkins and De La Hoya fought for all 4 MW weight titles at a catchweight of 158? the list goes on and on. Just cause Pac is doing it now, everyone is pissed off. There was a time when the bigger guy was the one discredited for defending his title against smaller opponents at a catchweight.
