i would love for toney to fight randy or chuck .. imagine if an old washed out toney knocks out either of those two.. it will put an end to this debate about mma being a harder fighting sport than boxing.. i think toney at this stage can still ko both of those fighters..

    :hat

Have you not watched MMA since 1993 or something?:huh The sport has evolved quite a bit. It is no longer a sport for "old guys from other sports who can't make their anymore". The athletes and fighters are entering younger and younger.

Not to answer for somebody else, but can't help myself:

    Mercer
    Roger Clemens
    Herchel Walker
    Bob Sapp
    Mariuz PUdz
    James Toney

    Hell EVEN

    Lesnar and Lashley

These guys are all from different sports, and many of them couldn't cut it anymore. The rest are getting OLD! Even Lashley isn't a young man..Of course Lesnar, and Lashley could still make it in Pro wrestling, and Pudz still does strongman, but there not young. This isn't even including all the crazy matches that takes place in Japan, and places like that.

So just because some old heads who used to play other sports try their hand in MMA, then that's "all MMA is for"? What kind or warped logic is that? You think that Roger Clemens or Herschel Walker are going to beat Fedor anytime soon?

BTW, I don't even know why you mention wrestlers. Wrestlers have basically been training their entire lives in a fighting discipline. Wrestling is arguably the greatest fighting base to start out with. Wrestlers go into MMA because there is no money in real wrestling... not because they can't wrestle anymore. The reason that you still have some cross overs from Professional wrestling is because those guys were actually real wrestlers making their money in pro wrestling. MMA is still young enough where really good older wrestlers can finally go make some money using their wrestling skills. However... you can clearly see the trend of younger fighters coming into MMA.

I could barely understand a word he said  but I'd love to see Toney in the UFC or Strikeforce.

That bit about Kimbo being KTFO behind the back of Burger King cracked me up.

Didn't say it was ALL old guys. Just saying these I think it's quite crazy that MMA is about the only sport where these Ex-pro athletes can compete and win. You aren't going to see a football player cross over to boxing (unless he's trained for quite a while). These guys just say ****, I want to get out of my sport cuz I'm old and can't do it anymore. What am I going to do for $? Guess I could fight MMA...Bet I could kick some ass.
I just think it doesn't say much for your sport. You got old guys whom were great athletes (but not fighters) kicking the **** out of somebody that's been doing MMA for 15 years, and much younger. Yeah, Lesnar wrestled, and so did Lashley. Mercer boxed (punchers chance) Pudz has some experience with martial arts, etc.
There's tons of young guys, some have talent, but face facts....It still is a bit of a freakshow sometimes.
