by rights taylor should cream wood, but anything could happen.

I think the shortened format gives garth wood a huge advantage. He is more explosive early by nature and confidence does wonderful things when you bounce to a solid early lead. Good on him.

If Victor won the comp everybody would be happy....same goes for Kariz...In the end Wood get the shot.

I would love to see him fight Taylor and Les Sherrington before Mundine....however I dont think they will risk Les as he should beat him.

Wood needs to keep wining if the Mundine fight is going to work

I'm sure Billy H. as Garth's trainer wil match him accordingly, stepping the level of his opponents up correctly, continuing his development whilst the Mundine opportunity continues to be brought together.

If I was looking after Les, I wouldn't put him in there with Wood either. He brings nothing to the table.

I whould allways pick Shannon over Garth,BUT after watching all the contender recently on you tube, ill say Garth will manhandle and mug his way to victory.Garth may fight ugly but its effective, and what a huge heart.

Yeah funny that....I went to the fights with another ESB member...had a good night...we were going for Les being the local boy and all that....I was drinking with a mate before hand...then went to the fight...had good seats had fun

I remember seeing each round and saying Les won that round...and another...I had it a shutout...then Taylor went dirty...then it was over...I think I was going to the bar when it ended...didnt see it

One of these days I will look at boxrec to see what they say.

My point being Les schooled him easy...Taylor looked to have nothing left.

I was impressed with Les and will look forward to what he does next

I think Wood beats Taylor easy...I think Les beats Wood

Les without a doubt beats Wood, I wouldn't say necessarily Garth beats Shannan. With his far from legal style coupled with Shannan's foul temper this one will be ****ing ugly. Shannan did not quit against Sherrington, the ref stopped it.
