Who has more chance of victory, and why: Mosley or Clottey?

I voted for Clottey. Mosley has the unenviable job of having to be the first to figure out Mayweather.

Mosley obviously, because he's a better fighter than Clottey.

Clottey doesn't have the power to just get Pac out of there in 1 hit, and he'll tire in the 2nd half of the fight. Add to that his work rate is low.

Stylistically speaking I don't see how Clottey can win this fight. He himself just basically admitted that draining himself to get down to 147 has taken a toll on his power

I know i'm in the minority but i say Clottey. The x-factor of his chin, size and solid defense along with good hand speed and ability to get off fast combinations.

I know Mosley has power but i just don't see him getting through PBF's defense.

Clearly far more skilled that Clottey would ever DREAM of being even at 38 and coming off a shocking KO victory many thought he was tune-up material going in. Clottey is definitely a tough opponent but he's no Mosley, he doesn't possess the threat Mosley possesses in his fighting ability, skills and everything. On top of all, Mosley is also considered by the public and almost all as the official #1 welterweight.

 

Mosley has a better chance against Floyd since Mosley knows how to and has won big fights. Clottey can't close when the lights are brightest and Pacquiao will simply beat him - whether on the cards or by stoppage. Mosley is the much bigger threat.

 

Clottey's defense is decent at best, he can be hit and it's not hard to do so. His speed is decent as well yet nothing special, expect him to look like a zombie compared to Pac's speed. What he has is chin and size, you have to remember that this is a guy who runs out of gas if he's forced to be semi active the first 3 or 4 rounds which is why his chances can't be compared to Mosley. Mosley is a fighter that can adapt if he finds his self in trouble and losing early, Clottey can't and even if Clottey could his stamina will force him not to.
