No. He isn't the perfect punching machine. He is an amazing puncher, but guys like Ray Robinson and Alexis Arguello had better technique. He's an ATG and an elite fighter, but 'perfect' is too far.
i would say he is, its been a long time since you seen someone who throws so many accurate angle punches with lots of combinations. on top of that he is lightening and has freakish power also lets not forget his sensational foot movement
Manny have evolved so much, it shows what discipline and a great mind like Freddie Roach can do, he is light years ahead of where he once was. I wasn't a fan of him for a while because i thought he fought some shot fighters, but Ive been turned around.
Since Arguello only two fighters come to mind as perfect punchers a prime Tyson and a Prime Ricardo Lopez. Pac does some amazing things in his own right but some things about him look less than perfect. That being said I think his imperfections have helped him as he throws people off. Pac is lethal but not as lethal as the question asks. My main reason is that against Marquez an easy to hit opponent he was unable to stop him.
:rofl:rofl gotta love the announcers. I dont even know what they were saying but their laughter was priceless.
Yes, he's a great puncher. But I don't know if I'm completely sold on him being super extraordinary yet. His last four opponents didn't exactly put up great defense. Let's not get too carried away.
