The thing I don't get with some of the ****ing spanners around here is bagging Green for wanting to fight Choc again. How times change - how many of you self-proclaimed experts respect and admire Tommy Hearns? The guy is a legend of our sport and it isn't just because of the number of titles won or the manner of his victories, Hearns suffered 3 in particular heart-breaking defeats: Leonard I, Hagler and Barkley I. He actively chased re-matches with those fighters because the losses hurt him inside and he wanted a chance to set the record straight. Now look at Green -
He has lost to Marcus Beyer and to Anthony Mundine, he has and did actively campaign for re-matches and got one against Beyer and came up short again BUT HE ****ING STEPPED BACK IN AGAINST A FIGHTER THAT BEAT HIM.
He wants a chance at redemption, I don't see the ****ing problem myself and if he makes a few mill along the way then good on him; at least he won't be thinking what if at the end of his career

Pretty much the same as how Mundine has achieved more in his life then all you losers bagging him.

 

I am not bagging him at all ********, read my post again - I am just saying to look at some pretty significant facts; he has always shown a willingness to fight guys again who beat him, Paul Briggs is another who comes to mind; was more than happy to go round with Adamek again, another warrior who commands a lot of respect in Australian boxing public

 

I think Mundine has had one hell of a career for a bloke with no more than 4 amatuer fights and he has surpassed I think anyone's expectations of him when he turned pro. You really are a bit of a girl with the way you carry on. All roads don't lead to Mundine, you are kidding yourself, Choc's options are starting to dry up with the way things have gone over the last 12 months. Green has other options the bloke just wants another chance to set the ledger straight, that's what fighters do sludge
