Lucian Bute vs. Edison Miranda

Miranda is extremely limited, the only thing he has is power but it won't even matter since he won't be able to land anything clean.
This should be an ez fight for Bute.

 

He had trouble landing on Ward. Bute is easier to get to and not nearly as good defense as Ward. Bute hits harder though and will probably fight more for the KO. I really think this fight comes down to what Joe Goossen is able to do with Pantera. If Miranda is 'fixed', nobody knows what to expect.

Nobody know wich Miranda will be showing in April it could be a new one!

But if it's the same Miranda that Face Ward i think the poll could be accurate! You right when you say Ward his harder too touch then Bute but Lucian know he can pay the price too land his power shot , so i don't see the fight going 12 full round!

 

You know, I would've given Miranda a higher chance of pulling out the upset if he had the determination and chin of Andrade, but
his chin is almost completely gone and he will be getting his alot in this fight.
I just don't see how he can win.

Agree 100%. I have said that already. That Miranda only has a punchers chance and a slim one. Good think for Miranda is that is the only Miranda that Bute can train for. If (and it i a big IF) if Miranda is moldable and new 'skills' can be put into place, Goossen is the right man for the job. That's all I got to hope for...

:respect for Miranda . It's hard not to like the guy but i can never root against Bute. Bad luck for him that he couldn't fight with Stieglitz cuz i think he would have a World title now . He's really confident and behind that extra confidence of his it must be something interesting... we gonna have a exciting match ; off course Bute will still win it

 

I think too that Miranda would have had a good chance to beat Stieglitz had he fought him in January. And we would be talking about an unification bout for April 17.

 

I am not so sure if the fight with Bute would have happened though. The Germans would have had an option or two on future fights. Who knows if they would have wanted Miranda to take the fight outside of Germany. :think
