Np's LH, I just had a little laugh to myself. Bottom line Mayweather gets great credit for beating SMM. The degrees of difference in how good SMM was then to now are small. The SMM of today would give the SMM of 2000 a hell of a fight, he'd lose but it would be close.
From page 8 of this thread: From a few pages earlier in this thread: Oh yes, yet again you have been.... This content is protected By me. Don't you ever get tired of fumbling and bumbling around like an absolute tit, and getting embarrassed again and again and again?
If you read my prior posts, I was comparing him to his LW days. As far as his welterweight career, Nothing suggests he is as severely diminished as you contine to beat into submission now that the fight with Mayweather has been announced. Hes still winning and losing on the same level. If he pulls of the upset against Mayweather, he will certainly be considered better than he ever was. Read through the posts like this that I agreed with, theres a couple of them.
You were owned again you dumb ****. But I'll indulge you for a second anyway, in the hope of educating you a little. This statement: is absolute dog****. You are so hot and bothered wanting to defend your Floyd that you are defending him against an attack that isn't even being made. :fire Here is one of my own posts from my own "Why I think Mosley has a genuine chance" thread from yesterday: You see, you ****ing douche, nowhere have I said that Mosley is very severely diminished, nowhere. There is a clear difference between saying he is 'severely diminished', and acknowledging the very, very obvious fact that a 38 year old Mosley who was outboxed by Miguel Cotto is not as good as the lightning-fast 28 year old version who became pound-for-pound number 1 by outfighting prime Oscar De La Hoya. He isn't severely diminished, not to the point that it wouldn't be a GREAT win for Floyd if he beats Shane. It would be a genuinely GREAT win, I have never said otherwise. But this doesn't mean we have to lie and pretend that a 38 year old Mosley is as good as he was in 2000. He very clearly, very obviously is not. If you could remove Floyd's shaft from your gub, move your eyes away from his pubic region and stick them in front of a tv instead, and actually watch Mosley-De La Hoya 1, you would see this. Even someone as twisted with bias and inbreeding as you would see it. Yes, Shane was superb vs Margarito, but Margarito isn't fit to lace prime Oscar's shoes. That Shane was better. It speaks volumes about your legendary stupidity that this thread has run on so long with people trying to talk some sense into you. You are, as always, just so wrong. :good
I really want to drag you from your keyboard and beat your ass. Thats exactly what your implying when you make statements like this and you know it. Your using one fighter as an example. Did you forget he lost two consecutive fights against Forrest before beating DLH again, and then losing to Wright in two consecutive fights. He also beat DLH in the amatuers. How is using a guy he beat at every point in his boxing career a barometer of how bad he has declined. He simply had Oscars number, as you will most likely now say Forrest had of Mosley, because like you said, Again what two opponents are Mosleys biggest wins?????
The best way for me to describe and differentiate between a prime Mosley and the today's version being led by Richardson is prime Mosley threw alot of combinations, but was abit more reckless, while the modern version for me thinks more in the ring and takes him time analyzing his opponent, sometimes alittle too much like he did with Mayorga, and in his case vs. Cotto he looked lost when he was being outboxed badly. What would tick me off the most of Shane ever since his losses to Forrest and Winky was a brave as he was, he always fought the same freakin way. Physically Shane has the weapons, but before he almost seemed one dimensional to me. Now with Richardson in his corner, I think he is learning skills he never used before and knows his limits like Hopkins instead of relying only on his power and reflexes the way a Jones would. If Mosley follows the right gameplan, I think he can come out with a split decision. If he goes out trying to ko Floyd, Floyd will start reading him and exposing Shane's habits. He needs to confuse Floyd in some way and be consistent like win the first couple of rounds, rest in the middle rounds, and win the last ones since his stamina is not the same either. He's going to have to outwork Floyd the same way he outworked Delahoya in their first fight. Combinations and jabbing are a MUST for Mosley to come out victorious
As usual: You have failed. Oscar beat Mosley 2nd time out gimp. No doubt about it. I've watched the fight and scored it numerous times. So your theory about Mosley and Oscar is, like everything else you say, ****ing manure. Mosley at 154 was never as effective as he was at 147. From 2000 onwards, Mosley has been on a slow but steady decline. As I've said 1000 times, he has NOT declined to the point where he is not effective anymore, he is most definitely still an excellent, top level fighter. But in 2000, he was the p4p#1 for a while in an era that had prime versions of Jones, Oscar, Tito, Lennox, Morales, Barrera, Tszyu, Mayweather, etc etc. He was, very obviously, a better fighter then. I'm getting bored of your thick-as-pig**** presence on this thread now, as usual you are the stinking turd that won't flush, do me a favour and ask either any serious Shane Mosley fan or any knowledgable Classic poster if Shane is better now or in 2000, and hopefully they will educate you. :good
****adoodledo. Look kids it's all a matter of opinions. This entire site is nothing but opinionated discussion!A bunch of clownshoes scanning page after page to find somebodys self contradiction because they have a different opinion? Really? How the **** old are some of you dumb *******s?Anyway there are viable claims to Mosley being better then or now. It merely depends on what YOU consider to make a fighter "better". I believe he's better now for several reasons.
You take 2009 Mosley put him in the ring with 2000 DLH and DLH just might die in the ring. The difference is ring IQ. Honestly its night and day with Mosley. I watched a few old fights and a few new ones yesterday. It even appeared as though his stamina is better now but then again it could be that he fights smarter by not wasting as many punches or energy. All in all I feel hes more composed, intelligent as well as technically capable.
OMg, what the fuk are you smoking? Mosley now would destroy Oscar of 10 years ago? Holy fuk, shoot yourself
