Valero...**** was I wrong about him. I always though of him as a very limited wild slugger with an overrated KO streak but dam I was wrong. How can you not like the guy after dismantling DeMarco the way he did?

    He won me over too.

Knowing the behind-the-scenes stuff about how McGirt tried to change his style into something he wasn't comfortable with really puts things in perspective. He looked like ass for a while there (after initially making me a fan with the schooling of Cherry right on the heels of the brave withstanding of Cotto), but terrific both times with Diaz.

Mayweather, Wladimir Klitschko, Edwin Valero, Edison Miranda, Carl Froch.

And vice-versa for Hatton & Calzaghe.

Paulie Maliganaggi. Used to hate his guts ever since I saw him for the first time in 2003 on FNF. But he has proven to be a pretty good boxer with a good level of toughness.

    :| Not you Teeto!

    ...We're done. :bart

In all seriousness, I started watching this beautiful sport not caring too much about Morales. I dismissed him as both one dimensional and sloppy. Thanks to my willingness to learn though, I checked out his other fights and was pleasently surprised to see some nice skills. I really like Erik Morales.

The Cotto fight did it for me...The kid took a beating and still mange to fight his heart out...People can say what they want about Paulie, but we cant take his heart away from him.

Only if he had a little bit of power...I'm not talking about brute strenght but the type of power that gaines your opponents respect. If he had that, I think he would be in a different league...His skill are there!:good

Yeah, I'm not talking about the quality of his opposition but about the way he was fighting, was not exciting to me. Or maybe I became a little biased?

Anyway, can you compare his last performance to any previous one?

You're right, in that sense - Dimitrenko was probably his best performance.

I used to like Victor Ortiz but after what he did and say after the Maidana fight, I dislike him now. I don't hate him but I was extremely disappointed w/ his behavior.

Right. Too bad he can't comfortably make, like, super featherweight. There's no guarantee he could hurt those guys either, though! :-(

Some guys just don't have that equalizer. That said, it's amazing what he's accomplished in overcoming such a drastic handicap in this sport.

Morales is a legend amongst men mate. And it's one of the finest rivalries ever.

pac believe or not. the 1st time a friend brought me to watch this pinoy fighter who was knocking people down, i almost puked with the ugliness of his style, and i am a pinoy for crying out loud. i was actually dissing this dumb pinoy and was in awe with the skill of the mexican he was fighting (can't remember who, was not into boxing then). my friend had to bring me to watch a couple more of his fights before i began to root for him. but i still didn't like his style until much later when he started improving after the morales fights.

i've been a fan of the magic man from day one, i'm proud of what he's done, i thought he was toast in the cotto fight but he stuck in there.
